You need to just add the code. It doesn't download anything but instead activates the new chapter. Early impressions from people was to play the game first without it, then play it with it. Once you activate it, then you basically lose what storyline there is without it. So it depends if you want to play it more than one time. Hopefully I made sense...LOL

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
Just picked up Until Dawn for $32 at Best Buy thanks to GCU. Looking forward to playing the game this week.
Quick question though - for anyone who received that Bonus Chapter DLC, is that just included into the main game or a separate chapter and when should it be played? Thanks.

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
I traded it back in at Best Buy after I got the Platinum for it. With GCU I got $33 back for it which was great considering I only paid $5 for it.Comment

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
Currently up to chapter 5 or 6. Can't remember but it's where Hayden gets out of the hot tub. After doing a little more searching, that bonus chapter isn't a chapter but just another segment that deals with Matt and Emily. It's said to be short and I think I already did the segment already but im not 100% sure.
Anyway, the atmosphere is excellent and im enjoying the game thus far. Definitely has the feel of an old school Friday the 13th movie. And the opening with the sisters was simply....OUCH!!!Comment

Is the bonus DLC in the game case? I just picked this up last week at BBY just not home right now to check the case.Comment

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
Finished the game last Thursday and traded it in to Best Buy. Game cost me $34.83 including tax. I got back $33.00 including the 10% bonus. Basically, the game was a four day rental for a $1.83. Love Best Buy's GCU!!!

Overall, a very good game considering that it's basically a cinematic, button prompt QTE. Visually, game looks great and the atmosphere and areas are excellent. Music, sound and voice acting is also excellent. It's the story and characters that stand out the most. Once you get past the first few chapters since the game starts slow, it really picks up and a lot of moments I felt like I was in a Friday the 13th movie. Gameplay is good for what it is. Game is definitely meant to be played more than once but once was enough for me. 8/10 in my opinion and a definite sleeper hit as no one (including Sony) thought the game was going to be any good but it is.Comment

this. Probably one of the most shameless preorder baits ever, go to youtube and watch the additional 10 minutes if you want.Comment

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
Ok Thx EG. I've played a little bit so far and I'm liking what they have done here even though it's campy. Being a fan of Heavy Rain this is very similar. My adult ADD has kind of kicked in so I'm jumping back and forth with Uncharted Collection.Comment

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
I enjoyed it but had no desire to go back and get the rest of the trophies. Just hated most of the characters lol

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
I finished this yesterday. Cool game, I'd give it an 8/10. Like EG, I also have no desire to run through it again and get the trophies either.
My only goal in the game was that I wasn't going to let Hayden die lol. I ended up finishing with 4 survivors. A little disappointed that Emily survived, though because she made me sick.
SpoilerThe only deaths that kind of sucked for me were Matt and Ashley. Matt seemed like a good dude, he deserved better than what he got in this game. And I didn't really care about Ashley, but I hit "rejoin the group" too slowly or something. I didn't want her to go explore. I was a fool to open that hatch. Lmao.Comment

Re: Until Dawn (PS4)
I saved Sam (Hayden) which made me very happy, Matt and Jessica. I killed Emily when I had the chance to do so as she was the most annoying character in the game and she was quite simply, a bitch and she had to go. LOL.Comment
