State of Decay is designed to let zombie fans answer the ultimate question: What would you do in the face of the zombie apocalypse?

The end is here. Human civilization has been annihilated. The few, scattered survivors must band together, rebuilding civilization in a third- person action game packed with sweet guns, fast cars, hand-to-hand combat, and copious amounts of zombie gore. Players choose where to make their stand, designing and fortifying their settlements, performing daring raids for valuable stores of food and ammunition, and rescuing other playable survivors. The open world develops in real-time, shaped by player actions, with content determined by their choices and the ever-increasing zombie threat.

It's not Xbox exclusive,the first thing they say in the second video it's on 360 and PC.

He probably wasn't thinking about pc and just seen Microsoft studios and knew it was just XBOX.

Other than the fact the graphics look like **** and I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for this as it stands now (by 2013 Spring it should look better and be more polished)

And I'd say it's more Saints Row meets Zombies than GTA, just because of the craziness of it - seeing the girl dropkick a zombie, the outfits, etc. - but that's just semantics.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game was a beta for a much larger-scale, better graphics, 720 version.

I'm with Skyboxer in that I like the fact it's offline, single-user.
But I think it would be cool if you could invite a handful of friends to join your game.
So you could be at one of the map and when you log in, you find that your friend is on the other side, needing your help.
OR, you can sneak into his stronghold, steal all of his stuff, and then un-fortify it so when he logs in, he's up a creek without a paddle. Haha!

Almost positive it's a XBLA game, so it won't be over $20, probably $15.

It would have been nice if this was a multiplayer game, something similar to how Red Dead Redemption is run online.

It does look like it could be a good game, though.

Any more info on the gameplay mechanics or anything? I don't think the game looks too good, but that's not a big deal if it plays well. I've been looking for someone to do a game like this forever. Kind of a surprise there hasn't been one up to this point.
