    Re: Planetside 2

Yeah I turned off voice chat & it seems to run alot smoother for me. I tried the engineer today as I had been running the medic mainly. Got some claymore kills & repaired team vehicles. One annoyance is waiting in queues which can take a bit to get into a game. Had an odd glitch where the red hit indicator on me wouldn't going away. Plus run animation glitched where it felt like I was floating across the landscape when I tried to run. For a free to play title I can't complain to much main thing is I'm having fun.

      Re: Planetside 2

Since it dropped I've been playing this game a ton.

I have a lvl 20 Vanu on Crux, a lvl 8 TR on Palos, lvl 8 NC on Palos.

I've play all the classes quite a bit and have figured out all the nuances. We use party chat, I've convinced a few of my friends to DL it. There's usually anywhere between 4 and 8 of us on during the day with some guys dropping then others replacing them.

Figured out the squad stuff first because we all wanted to play together. In party chat always when we're playing.

There are many glitches I've ran across since playing so much but I'm sure it'll all be addressed eventually. Things getting stuck on your screen, getting stuck physically, not warping or redeploying properly, etc.

A few of my friends have already sunk a few bucks into the game for cosmetic stuff because they like it so much. I love playing it, we're all sinking lots of time into it.

Waiting for the update to add outfits (clans) so we can make one.

      Great game.

Triggered the download finally. I almost tried the PC version a while back. My plate is really fun all ready, but I'll try most anything for free..

This is great for people on PS4 new to Planetside 2.

          This is the PS4/Planetside2 subreddit.

          https://m.reddit.com/r/PS4Planetside2

So many good hints & tips since there in no manual that comes with this amazing F2P game.

This game is what I initially thought destiny would ambitiously try to become. This is such a grand scale open world, I realize the graphics aren't up to par being an older game finally being brought to PS4.

This game is getting quite a bit of players on PS4 and it's growing.

It is either L1 or R1, I forget because I'm not on my controller right now.

Any questions any time, feel free to ask. I feel like I've just about mastered all the controls, settings, etc in this amazingly fun game.

Huge update for PS4 Planetside 2 today (2.222GB).

It's hard to copy & paste a ton of notes on the phone so here's a link with all the fixes.

I'm gonna make a serious effort to get really started in this game soon. Probably this weekend

Once I'm home from vacation I'll be mostly playing this. Already splurged for a few BC credits. Game is a ton of fun. Can't wait for the squad stuff to get straightened out, if it hasn't been already.

The shooting mechanics are what they are, it's a ftp game so it's not as crisp as say battlefield. But beyond that there is a high learning curve for all the nuances and procedural stuff.

It's a Neverending game of conquest on an insanely massive scale. You can get on the front lines and be in crazy large battles or you can do tons of support / vehicle / class specific support things and go long periods without ever having to get in actual firefights.

You can play it how you want. There's something for everyone here.

I've introduced this game to about 5 or 6 guys and they all downloaded it and it's about a 50/50 split of love, hate.

I love the game (and it's free!), a few OSers, battlefield friends play with me often.

Give it a try, it's worth at least that. That would be my suggestion Kev.

Daybreak has been releasing a number of patches and fixes since it went live on the PS4. Their latest patch (recent Europe server) has resulted in a number of "new bugs introduced" which Daybreak acknowledges. Their transition hasn't gone smoothly. You could say it's been a mess.

Download worth it? It is free so you should try it if you have some interest.

Okay, here's a weird bit of news to read. Daybreak announced that a PlanetSide 2 PS4 update (update 3) should have rolled out to EU players yesterday, with US players getting the update within the day (once they managed the bugs that came along with the update, which is discussed below).
