Played the demo, made it just over 5 days, it got crazy a few times. Had a guy break into my house and was about to kill my wife so i nailed him with the hammer. I got her stable then left and spent at least 3 days roaming. Ran inti a guy at a store who threatened me so i left, wound up finding a gun and came back and dealt with him appropriately . Eventually tried to get back to the house and got swarmed as i was feet from the door....planning on getting the full version tomorrow.

Is it possible for NPCs to join you and team up?

In the full version if you update it yes. I don't know if you can in the 1.5 version. But I know they have it in 2.0.

Refer to my last post about them (Bottom of the 3rd page).

There are pros and cons that can come from asking people to join you.

Hit spacebar to bring up the inventory tab (appears on the left side).

Click the weapon you want to equip and then click in the top big circle on the upper-left hand side.

It will then be in your 1st slot.

Then you can hold either control or Z + mouse click in the direction you wish to attack.

EDIT: Also, for when you guys are running around. You can just use the attack stance (holding control or Z) and look around quick for a fast 360 glance to make sure no one is sneaking up on you. Just a nifty tip.

This game looks/sounds awesome. Hopefully I'll have a laptop with sound in the near future so I can play it haha

Haha, got the full version today. First time did the "Blank Canvas" story and ran around for a while collecting things and began to think this mode didnt have zombies. I was carrying too much so I started to drop everything I could (including clothes) and drank all my booze becoming "utterly ****faced" then tried to move to another building and thats when the Zombies found me. I was trying to break down a locked door when they started to get me, I made it in but had nothing to board up doors, went for the first room I saw...and there were zombies in it already! I went down swinging, panicked, drunk...and nearly naked...

Then I fired up the sandbox mode as a Security Guard. I literally left my first building went next door, got scared by zombies but heard gunshots so i ran towards them (im an idiot) hoping it was someone to work with. I saw him go into the bank (where i started) so i went in with zombies close behind. He shot, killed a zombie (at this point i felt like this was going to work out) then without hesitating, put one in my skull. He didnt speak a word...prick. I lived only a couple hours, it was so fast!

How do you climb out windows? Also, is there a way to set up scenarios in the blank canvas story mode? I'd love to set it up where you start in the tool shed with just a gun and a handful of bullets with a bit more than a handful of zombies outside and you have to make your way out if there first to find food/supplies and survive.

There is the one a few pages back that Phobia found.
It basically upgrades your character sprite to 3D and increases the map by a huge amount.
I'm sure there will be quite a few gems ......in the case of mods for this game.

I'm interested in downloading user made stories the most to be honest.

Supposedly the 3.0 version is coming out before end of year and is supposed to be a huge upgrade. It will be the steam release version

That's how you feel towards other NPC's. You can choose the one you want to have.

I think it's like Hostile, Neutral, and Friendly. Different dialogue depending on your choice.

Thanks, I was wondering same thing. Now that I think about it I bet that is why I got blasted with that shotgun in my last story. I set it to the mean looking face.

Lol, watching my friend play this for the first time was great.

He started in the apartment complex and was all cautious exploring it all. When he realized there were no zombies in there he was like "Wow, this game is way easier then you said!"

He then proceeds to run out the door thinking no big deal, and just a giant horde was outside waiting.

He screamed, and I died of laughter.

I love how this game is still entertaining to me. Seems like I'm about the only one that feels that way, though.

im still enjoying it, i have trouble running it on my new laptop (windows 8) so i have to power up the desktop to get to play it so ive been playing with it a lot less.
