                  I'm stuck on the side quest of retrieving Mission's brother. The Chieftan of the sand people has given me permission to take Griff, but I've turned the compound inside out and he is nowhere to be found. Has this happened to any one else? Where is he?

                  I think I remember him being behind a door across from where the hostage Jawas are. If you take a left when you come into the compound, and then go down a little ways, he's behind a door on the left. If he's still not there, you're probably missing a key conversation, maybe with Mission.

                        EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                              I had the same problem. Turned out that I opened the door across from the Jawas that was going to be behind. Nothing was there. After that, I got permission to take Griff.
                              Unfortunately, if you do it in the wrong order - like I did - you trigger a bug. Griff disappears, and you'll never find him. I finshed the game without it, and just avoided talking to Mission much...

                              Unfortunate, but there's so much else to see, it wasn't as big a deal as I thought it would be.
