Re: Destiny
For some reason I can't take this game out of my PS4 ha. I know it borrows a lot of elements from games like Mass Effect, Borderlands, etc, but it integrates a seamless user experience between singleplayer, co-op, and competitive multiplayer. The load times can be rather slow at times, but this game is really packing a lot of content. The game is also well balanced between the classes.
I've heard complaints about melee and close combat not playing a big role in boss battles but I believe you really have to choose your spots and be more tactical. Fifa and destiny are going to keep me entertained for a while.Comment

Re: Destiny
I don't mind a good grind. I played D3 vanilla like it was my job and trying to find a legendary there was the ultimate grind.Yes, but don't go in expecting ARPG loot.
Go in fully expecting an MMO loot-grind.
Using Crucible Marks as an example here. You can get 100 marks/week.
Once you hit reputation level 2 with whichever vendor is selling the stuff you want (there's FWC, Dead Orbit, the general Crucible vendor), which will take quite some time, the crucible gear sets cost...
Primary Weapon - 150 marks
Secondary Weapon - 150 marks
Heavy Weapon - 150 marks
Head - 120 marks
Arms - 65 marks
Chest - 65 marks
Boots - 65 marks
Class Item - 65 marks (note: for these, you can get them for Glimmer only if they are from one of the other reputations, as that is how you raise them)
for a grand total of... 830 marks. Which would be 9 weeks worth of maxing out marks/week and grinding reputations.
Note that this is NOT the only way to gear up. But it is the only way to know exactly what you are buying/getting.
That timeframe also applies to the Vanguard weapons and armor from that vendor.
I just started the digital download. Should be done once football is done today.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Destiny
The guys that are level 20+ just destroy online lol. I pretty much can only kill them if I sneak up on them or use my aura blast or whatever it's called.
At the same time though, it makes a huge difference once you find some guns you like. I really struggled with the guns I started out with, but I have a sniper rifle and a full auto gun now at level 13 and it makes it so much easier. With the other guns, I might have had a K/D ratio over 1 like 1/5 games. Now, I'm pretty much in the 1-2 range every game.
I'm obsessed with Control. Since I can't just run and gun with my level 13 warlock, Control allows me to sneak around capturing bases and then finding a place to hide and defend them until I get my super back.NFL: Bills

Re: Destiny
So far the best gun to me in the game is the one you get after you beat the game. That gun is a beast and you can totally hold your own against the legendary guns. I am noticing quite a lot of level 26s and level 29s online.Comment

Re: Destiny
Good afternoon. Soooo, how do you initiate your bounty missions? I purchased one but I don't know how to start it? Oh, and by the way, damn, dudes spent 60 on the game and finished it ALREADY? Wow. Personally, I let my games marinate for a bit, the last thing I do is try to rush through it. Hell, I refuse to go to another level for at least a week or two. I've finished the VERY first story level but I'm just going back to that same level over and over again firefighting and trying to see what random events or creatures pop up.Comment

Re: Destiny
Go to your inventory, it tells you what you need to do in order to complete the bounty. There is nothing to activate.Comment
