Do you have to be a certain level to see legendary engrams drop from enemies? I was farming the treasure cave earlier today for a few hours, ended up getting zero legendaries, about a dozen rares. At first it was just two of us, then a few more guys came in. I noticed they all picked up legendary engrams except me. Two of the guys got one within five minutes of arriving. They were all level 25+ so I figured that was the issue. I can't seriously be getting this screwed by randomness, right?

Despite that, I did get a bit more light with rare armors, so I'm up to Level 23 now. Progress, just very slow.

I can't believe it.

I just pulled a legendary Scout Rifle from the Venus spot.

Cryptarch must have been happy it was Friday.

Ended up finding a group farming the cave, stayed 1.5 hours, this was my haul.



All those extra inventory items are blue engrams, 2 ended up greens, the rest blues, had 3 upgrades in there now I am level 22 almost 23. Still no purple.

Don't worry about getting legendary engrams. You can get get purple gear through blue engrams. I got legendary gauntlets from a blue engram I left on a strike.

I did have one drop while I was playing the last mission, it was blue gauntlets. I did end up getting a piece of legendary gear from a blue engram....... Hunter boots. The Cryptarch is a ****.

I got two legendaries engrams to drop today and they actually both decoded as such! One for Titan and one for Hunter. fml

A friend and I just finished the Phogoth strike lvl 26, just the two of us.

We literally ran around Phogoth without stopping for a second and kept shooting at him while jumping over and around all other mobs.

After ONE HOUR of fighting Phogoth, he finally died.
