Finished a crucible round with a 2.43 KDR at the top of the leaderboard.

I haven't played much of it since my Warlock is only a lvl 13, but I'm finally starting to get great results. It definitely takes a little strategy sometimes.

A 5 kill streak feels so rewarding.

Yeah. If I'm just grinding a few games for bounties I'll hover between .7 and 1.5 KD normally on a losing team.

We played a bunch of games the other night with 5 of us in a party and we worked most of the games. Most fun I've had in a PvP shooter in a long time, when you can join with multiple people.

level 23 now, still convinced this is the worst online multiplayer game I've ever played. Way to unbalanced, or something, its just plain and simply not fun to me.

It was a blast last night, after you left we added a few more guys and kept going. I haven't raided till 5:30am since the early days of WoW.

I was playing with one eye open for the last hour and a half I think. Next time we'll start before midnight maybe.

It was very impromptu. My fireteam, decided to see what it was about. Needless to say we quickly learnes three isn't enough to even open the door. We invited a 4th friend then I got disconnected. That's when you joined me in orbit and I rejoined them with you in tow. Searching for that 6th took a while with invites to our friends list going unanswered (I understand, they scared of the Vault, lol). At least the 6rh we eventually found knew his ****.

so i was playin skirmish today and one person dropped out so it was two vs three and we got dropped bad, so i sat down cause it was almost over and one of my opponents sat down with me.......and three seconds later i threw my special at him

The crucible is very frustrating. I enjoyed the beta when everyone was level 8 but now it is so unbalanced I don't think it's worth touching until you reach level 20.

This game's biggest failing is the near complete lack of any real means of communicating and connecting with other people within the game. The only means of communication is only if you have a un-matchmade fireteam, the matchmaking on strikes you can't communicate. There's no saying "hey, looks like we are doing the same mission, want to team up?", you have to go out of the game and send a game invite. They show you friends are in game, but not what they are doing. They show you that friend(s) are in a story mission/mode but no indication of who and no way to, for instance, "ask to join friend's fireteam".

Haven't tried this myself yet going to tonight. Looks like a really good farming spot!

They show you friends are in game, but not what they are doing. They show you that friend(s) are in a story mission/mode but no indication of who and no way to, for instance, "ask to join friend's fireteam".

If you click to "inspect" your friend, it tells you what part of the game (Tower, what Mission, or what Crucible event) and if it's at a point you can, there is a "Join Fireteam" option, and an "Invite to Fireteam" option. Just so you know.

If you want a "join" button, you could just click send message and ask.

Is there a way to join randoms for story missions? My friends are pretty far ahead of me right now.

I didn't know that, but it would be much better to show where they are rather than just "online playing Destiny", because no **** they're playing Destiny. It still doesn't help quickly find someone doing something you'd like to join.

Not sure why you decided to be a smartass here, but ok. I would be happy to "just send a message" if the game bothered telling you what friend was in that mission. By the time I inspect everyone from my friends list to find the one guy that's in the mission I'm getting ready to play, the mission might be over. It would make more sense to be able to see the game tell you someone was in a mission then give you the option to join that friend.

Hell, it would be nice if you could turn on matchmaking for story missions so you can find new people. For a game that says it wants to be social, that wants you to communicate for endgame material, they certainly make all that as obtuse as possible to actually accomplish.
