yeah only 1 exotic armor and 1 exotic weapon at a time.

Raid gear seems to be equal to Exotic though. so once you get geared up in Raid gear, it'll be like all exotic. Stat-wise at least. Raid gear still considered Legendary(purple) though.

I picked up that hunter's helmet Xur had. so now I got 2 exotic helmets for my hunter. I'll probably switch them out depending on which sub-class I'm using at the time.

Achlyophage Symbiote is great for Gun Slinger.
Mask of the third Man is great for Blade Dancer.

I'm hesitant to upgrade any of my legendary armor. I don't want to waste all those resources on something that I may replace with an exotic. Ugh

That's a silly rule, but thanks. I just got an Exotic Hunter helm you're free to have - oh wait, there's no trading, so I just wasted 23 Motes of light on an engram that gave me nothing of use.

Well, if you start running the raid the gear you get there is legendary gear equal to the power of exotic.

I like that you can't just throw on all exotic gear. Makes you be selective in what you wear

It also prevents people from gearing up solely from Xur too, which could cause problems otherwise.

I really wish this game had a built in lfg room or area. Or at least allow random match making in all events, including raids. As a dad with few friends that game and limited time, the struggle to find squads is real.

With that said, any PSN guys looking to run a raid or nightfall tonight around 10 et?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe upgrade the "safer" slots first (the ones not in the spot of the exotic you want), but ultimately the exotic will have more light without shards than your legendary with, so you won't lose out switching outside of the shards you spent but you'll need to use those shards to get more shards and better gear. They don't help you at all in your inventory, but gaining a level can make a big difference.

Edit: something else that annoys me with this game, that you don't start with full ammo. Does it now make sense that I would have ammo stores in my ship? Or, at least start me with the ammo I turned the game off with.

Matchmaking in raids would be a horrible idea. You have people constantly dropping out of lvl 24 strikes, now imagine that in a raid.

Picked up the Sunbreakers. They will do until I can get Heart of the Praxic Fire. Xur not giving the same love to Warlocks as the other classes.

The Titan helm sounds neat, but I already have an exotic chest and I'm hoping Xur will have The Last Word, Patience and Time, or Ice Breaker next week.

I must of got lucky with that roll because I got it from Xur when he had the exotic engram chest last week. Lol. Maybe the week before.
