Interesting. I'll have to give it a shot then.

Re: Destiny
Yeah, these things tend to be much easier solo than with a team. I had a little trouble with Sepiks, but I tried to go up to the glitch room and pop out just to shoot at Sepiks and that was a bad move, ended up going back out of the room and fighting from there. For the heroic I went to my normal spot, the shipping,g container on the left, and had no trouble.
I started an alt, man is the beginning of the game boring as ****. This game has a pretty long tutorial phase.Comment

Re: Destiny
Patience & Time (no pun intended) is all that's needed. Lots of time in fact, takes a bit. Running it with someone else is always a bit more fun for the social part of it but they should preferably be a fellow OSer or a buddy you know.
Yes it creates more spawn trash, but that equals more potential engrams to drop as well.
I ran it with Hoos & pito, very fun. (thanks pito!)
Ran Crucible this morning and received a legendary (the final boss) sniper. I exclusively use Ice Breaker but final boss is arc not solar so I'll keep it. Anyone have exp using it, is it any good?Comment

Re: Destiny
I run the weeklies and stuff with friends. Sure it creates more enemies, but I think it is more fun with people as well Bolt.
What is your sniper?Comment

I'm working on an alt too and agree with it being extremely boring.Comment

Re: Destiny

Got my first Legendary Primary. A Scout Rifle. Not sure if it's any good or not but got it during the lvl 22 weekly strike.Comment

Re: Destiny
The one I use mostly is the Ice Breaker.

The one I picked up in Crucible this morning was Final Boss.

But mine is Arc damage not Void (got the pics of the Web), I'm at work.
It's an amazing scout rifle, nice find! I'm about to buy the crucible vendor version, just need 10 more Crucible marks. You're gonna love it.
My bad Jistic, I'll be more than happy to run it again with you. Doesn't matter that I did it already, I've helped other OSers run stuff I've already done. That's what it's about!
I can do it after work this afternoon if you haven't done it by then.Comment

Re: Destiny
Can't wait to actually try it out. It only took me 46 hours of play time to get a legendary weapon that wasn't a special.Comment

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
