Maybe referring too the typical MMO repetition? Like fetch quests and kill X amount of enemies in a location? Yeah this game will defiantly have that. But they're mostly optional if I'm not mistaken (green beacons).

I personally enjoy the level grinding for new loot and abilities.

Yeah the MMO quests I don't mind at all as i've played EQ, WOW, etc. I lost interest quickly because there was absolutely no story with it just scan this, kill a few of those, etc. I however realize it's only alpha and there was only 1 story/strike mission available which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Either way the Alpha did it's just job as I liked most of everything I saw from an RPG and combat stand point. Can't wait to see the Beta to do more then exploring that one area. They obviously have the rest of Earth to work with and read it'll include other planets so i'm sure my demands will be met.

I like how the Uncommon weapons have more choices in upgrades. I have a new burst rifle that has more attack power, but I find myself going back to the Uncommon rifle because I unlocked three different sights for it.

How do you change armor color? And when I dismantle weapons...what can I do with the parts?

Played throughout the day and mixed out a Warlock. Spent most of my time no the exploration map. Are these just random side quests thrown in because of Alpha. I ended up back tracking over and over again to do seemingly random missions. Also no map?

Played through the entire Strike mission with two other randoms and I thought it was great. Almost a perfect balance already.

Game looks great, will try MP tomorrow. Day 1 by for me at this point.

Exploration and missions with other players is more fun than the 6v6 multiplayer. IMO

Maxed out a Titan, so I went back and started up a Hunter. The golden gun ability is killer when you can make your shots.

I also found an area on the "explore" map on Earth full of level 8 baddies that I hadn't found before. Gonna have to go back there to try and find some better gear for the Titan after I play with the hunter some more.

You can, just not in the alpha as far as I can tell. Armor can be recolored, so pretty much the only thing you are stuck with thus far is your head.

On the game being repetitive, they probably should have named it differently. Calling it a "first look alpha" just makes you think it's an early build, if they would have called it an "E3 demo" it would have been more natural to understand the limited content.

No calling it a E3 demo would be way worst. People would want to see a lot more stuff in the game like a higher level increase and more content. Alpha is good because you know it not gonna have a lot of things in it. I wonder what they gonna change for the Beta.

You could go to a gunsmith to make new weapons.
