What are the best ways to accumulate strange coins? Can they be purchased? I already completed the weekly strike. Thanks in advance.

Start an alt so you can do the weekly heroic multiple times.

Anyway, xur was a bit of a disappointment this week for this titan. I know xur is just rng, but you would think they would write in a no repeat algorithm for him. Oh well, bought patience and time, not sure it's a massive upgrade but what else would I do with these coins? Also bought 2 exotic helmet engrams, which of course turned into nothing for a titan. Oh well, once again what else am I going to do with these motes?

Xur is weak sauce this week. Nothing for me. I already have 2 exotic helmets for my Warlock and I don't necessarily want voidfang.

At this point really not much point in Exotics except to shard them. I mean you can only equip two anyway. Once you have the ones you want, kind of pointless.

Is there a possibility of Bungie adding another tier for weapons and armor? Exotics aren't really exotic anymore...

I think you are going to be able to level them up further with the dlc.

Agreed, already have a fully maxed exotic chest piece for my Hunter and a fully maxed exotic helm. I'd rather where the chest armor, so the helm may get sharded somewhere down the road, especially if I get raid helm drop..... See eye ya!!

So in short, I am set on armor as soon as I get a raid helm and boots. Hoping some of this increase in good drops comes my way soon, still have to finish a normal raid this week to see what drops after Atheon
