Finally got some Raid Gear, from Crota. Finished the bridge portion (cheesing) with a couple of buddies and managed to get boots and gauntlets.

Bungie hasn't announced a date, but I wouldn't count on it coming tomorrow. I'm surprised they haven't even patched normal if their intent was fixing cheese before hard mode. Wouldn't shock me if hard mode was last reset this month.

Man Normal is so easy. Cheesing it is stupid. Like me and my regular group can finish it in maybe 40 minutes per run or so.

my group did it legit in 27 minutes, with 1 wipe on Crota. on 2nd attempt, killed Crota on 2 sword runs, never had to see Ogres. Crota's end is much faster and easier than VoG. I don't see why you would need to cheese. Hardest part is the death singer part, but that is quick, so failing a few times is not that huge.

Is the fate bringer hand cannon hard to get? I will be golden if I can somehow land that and the ice breakers. I am still kicking myself for not grabbing them from Xur when they were for sale. 😭

I agree with you, but the only time I can see when its worth cheesing it. Is when you ran the raid 3 times for all your characters, on both raids, and then you get hit up from other friends who need help. At some point you get raid burnout, so cheesing it under those circumstances are helpful.

I agree CE is much easier than VOG.

You can only get Fatebringer after the Templar fight on hard mode Vault of Glass. I've done 3 HM runs and haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully my turn will come on Friday.

You can get Ice Breaker a bunch of different ways. I got mine in a chest in the VOG before the DLC dropped. It could be a Nightfall, Weekly, Daily or Crucible reward. Xur may also sell it.

Just getting into this on PS4....hit me up , I'm a level 14 titan. Any tips that i should be adhering to or just do story levels and then grind in patrols?

Hey the way I see it people get the exact same rewards for cheesing it as someone who doesnt so why not do it the quicker way.

I personally can care less if one does or does not and can not understand why someone would want to take the "moral high ground" in a video game and complain about it. If you dont like it then dont so it, simple as that. Get off the Soap box and move on. Its not pvp or anything so someone complaining about cheesing an AI related thing has always seemed weird to me.

Just to clarify this was not directed at anyone in particular.
