Re: Destiny
Yeah actually Trials and Crucible are 2 different games.
Try Skirmish. Try Salvage.
But don't go into Control or Clash because that's just a gunfest.
I just went back to the lighthouse today. It's not the same as crucible which is a run and gun respawn fest. There's no way to train yourself by playing that. Play modes that need revives IE Skirmish & Salvage.
The maps will be on Maps for 3 v 3 combat. Not to mention levels matter in Trials and crucible it doesn't so it'll give you a false sense of success.Comment

Re: Destiny
Honestly never really used it much until Skolas. Maybe occasionally on an arc burn nightfallComment

Re: Destiny
Just got Shadow of Veils from a Judgement's Chance; high impact arc burn sniper at 365 with the extra damage to fallen perk. May have to give Skolas another run; seems like an awesome sniper rifle. By my math, it should do a little over 10,000 a crit on Skolas.Last edited by DonkeyJote; 05-30-2015, 02:40 AM.Comment

Re: Destiny
Same thing happened to me, switching from PVE to PVP. I got pretty good at Control, but haven't quite figured out Skirmish/Trials yet. Either way, it's the most enjoyable mode for me.As of recently I've pretty much only been playing crucible, haven't done any PoE this week really.
I must say, PvP is much more enjoyable for me now than PvE and I'm definitely getting much better. I've been playing on my Warlock Sunsinger as of late and he wrecks everything. I've noticed having intellect doesn't really make a different in crucible and I run radiant skin anyway and not fireborn. Having discipline and strength maxed makes you a grenade dominating tank and it's a blast.
I used to think Hunters dominated crucible but now not so much. All 3 have really good parts to them and I think the Warlock is my new PvP favorite.

Also, lock with radiant skin and ram is almost indestructible once you get a flame shield.Comment

Re: Destiny
Ran Trials last night and my group went 4-3 which is actually better than I thought we'd do. Buddy used the boon and got the boots. I was really bummed my other buddy didn't buy one cause I wanted to get him to 34 after we failed 34 PoE.
Earlier I logged in just to do the daily Crucible because I need more passage coins. I was dropped into a beating that lasted about 2 minutes. I think the final score was like 20k to 5k. Hit the reward screen and...

Re: Destiny
Vex Mythoclast, Hawkmoon & Red Death can beat Thorn from a distance if you strafe and be aware of how much bleed you can take.
Hawkmoon can actually destroy a Thorn user in 4 crits or less.
Last Word & Red Death can even beat Thorn up close. Hip Fire with last word. Aim for the head with Red Death and when you get a kill it'll stop the bleed.
All in all there's a counter for every gun just like there's a counter for every super. Just try not to play the Thorn game OR fight fire with fire lolComment
