IDK why you guys are saying no bubble and spreading out on Skolas.
We literally beat Skolas in like 2 minutes with it. It's way easier to know he can't 1 shot you inside the bubble but to each his own.

I have the Helm of Saint 14 so it blinds any enemies that step in but if you wanna do Skolas 3 times this is the week considering solar burn with Gjallys should take no more than 5 minutes lol. Sniping is a good method but it's just way to risky on top of having to possibly dismantle the mines if you don't take him down quick enough.

I do understand spreading out on some rounds considering enemies can't gang up on you if you're not all in 1 place but for the 35 it's best to try to team shot the captains and etc. The dregs vandals and shanks are not problem with a 365 fatebringer but the servitors and the captains are a pain to bring down.

Bubble just gets in the way, rather dip around cover. There's nothing wrong with having the bubble, just prefer without.

As far as most other rounds go, for the most part the only map that doesn't have a good defensible area in it is the fallen map, and that one I find it best to fight from one area, then rotate as things converge. More than any other enemy, the fallen want to come toe to toe with you, cabal are content sitting back, as are the hive with the exception of thrall, vex also tend to stay back.

A clutch use of a saintified bubble is when you have fallen VIPs, they can be a pain to get a bead on, even worse when everything is coming after you. The VIP always exits the same door, pop a bubble at the bottom of the stairs, stand back a bit (vandals come out there too), and have your arc shotgun out. Thunderdome.

Might be an improvement overall, that fight is not very fun (even solar isn't fun, it's just not a pain).

I loved it when it was on void burn.

No burns isn't the only change. Skolas is going to have less health, enemies are going to spawn at more predictable health intervals, and enemy composition is going to be adjusted. Essentially, they're making the fight easier because people are taking way longer on it than intended.

I've done it that way, but then had another group where we just couldn't get him that way, tried the middle tactic, got him second try. And Skolas can actually kill you inside the bubble.

Lame. I dont want to be sitting there for 8 hours trying to beat him legit. I guess I'll have to wait till we're all level 40 to beat him within a reasonable timeframe.

But at least bungie let us keep the shank/dreg burn. Dont know what we'd do without that.

I didn't realize how easy the Level 34 POE was this week. Ran through the Nightfall and 34 POE in about 45 minutes. Got the Crest of Alpha Lupi from the NF and sharded it.

Used my light to upgrade Fang of Ir Yut. Have two more nodes to fully upgrade it. Used one of my weapon cores to buy the void machine gun Variks is selling.

Also, Bungie should have called this DLC the House of Emblems. Jesus.

Next week should be Valus with the changing shields that was the 32 boss week 1. He's the only boss that hasn't been on 34 yet.

With Xur selling universal remote, the only exotic weapons in game I don't currently either have or have the bounty to obtain are Hard Light (used to have it, but shared like 3 of them), Plan C, one of the new ones (I have 2 ciphers going), and Necrocasm (just need the Crux).

I read somewhere on Sunday or Monday that belcher was the last new boss. I'm really not sure, was just assuming.

Tyring to think. There were 6 bosses outside of Skolas.
