Did the 34/32 today with a dude rocking the lord of wolves, and maaaann, did that make it a hard choice as to which exotic to pick. Still went Queensbreaker Bow, but defiently getting Lord of Wolves with my Titan's cipher.

Quick question, does anyone have any idea why there's an exclamation point over Variks head for my hunter and it's telling me to start the elder cipher quest? That char hasn't had a cipher drop, and it doesn't let me pick anything anyway. At this point it's just kinda annoying.

Maybe the new strike...Taniks?

I ran Crota hard yesterday and I was able to get Abyss Defiant, fang of ir yut, and Oversoul Edict. I couldn't believe it when I went to the post master.

If it's telling you to start the elder cipher bounty quest and you don't have it in your inventory/bounties, it's probably glitched. If you beat 32/34 or 35 you probably got it. Was you bounty slot full?

If it was then it glitched and you got it but it didn't register. A lot of ppl have been saying that Variks is giving them the option to start the quest but they can't start it because the bounty slot was full...

SIDENOTE: I got the Queenbreaker's Bow and it's cool but it doesn't really feel like an exotic weapon. Not enough damage to enemies even with the higher impact. I got another cipher from the 35 again so I'm def going Lord Of Wolves but I still think they'll end up buffing both guns.

Queensbreakers exoticness comes from it's versatility more than its damage. It's not something you're gonna be using on big boss fights or anything.

Vault of Glass is really glitchy right now. There were a few times where nobody could pick up the relic during Atheon. Also, why people even bother using Rockets on Atheon baffles me. It just gets you killed or, best case scenario, costs your team damage by making him dance around.

Vault of Glass is really glitchy right now. There were a few times where nobody could pick up the relic during Atheon. Also, why people even bother using Rockets on Atheon baffles me. It just gets you killed or, best case scenario, costs your team damage by making him dance around.

If you do enough damage your first time in the Relic Bubble, the three guys that don't get transported have a pretty good chance to finish Atheon with just rockets while the other guys are doing the Oracles. Did it that way the other day. We burned him down to 20% left, and before they other guys got out of the portal he was dead.

Yesterday I grabbed a Gorgon HM checkpoint from a buddy and another guy from my FL pops in:

"Hey, if you guys want help, I'll run it"
"Sure man, thanks!" I say, figuring we could finish this quickly. The room starts to fill. 32, 33, and a 28. The Gatekeeper part took forever because we, stupidly, split up and tried to do both at the same time. Ran them one at a time and destroyed that part.

Rewards: nothing. Few shards.

Atheon popped up and we designated who would be relic holders. I was one of them (I love running the relic in VOG). First portal, I get transported. Pick up relic: 28 is using a sniper on oracles.

Wipe.

Round 2: Transported again. This time w/ other relic holder. He grabs, I bust out SGA and roll through oracles. Hop down to Atheon. Half heath. 2nd teleport. Same deal. Kill Atheon.

In fact, the Mythoclast dropped for 3 out of 5 people in the group. I've never seen that happen before.

Yeah, but these guys were just unloading on him with times vengeance. They were out of secondary ammo apparently. Couple this with the fact that only me and one other guy had any idea what to do with the relic, people not being able to get the oracles down, and the game glitching a lot, it was more frustrating than that fight has ever been.

I saw a post on reddit today complaining that etheric light should still be more common. At this point, I have ascended minimum 2 pieces of armor on each character, and now have 5 365 legendary primaries, 3 snipers, e shotguns, and a fusion rifle, with still 2 etheric light, and not to mention exotics.

All I want in this world is a Void Bow. Not sure how I feel about Warlocks now being sith lords tho.
