Joined an lfg group for Skolas today, and one dude (the party leader) didn't say a word for the first 5 rounds. Got to Skolas and thankfully he started using his mic.

About halfway or so through we're clearing some adds and passing the poison, and his turn to take it is next and he's clear on the other side of the map, and so I tell him to stick together, and he says something to the effect of "relax" and he's got plenty of time. It's not like I was freaking out, it's just easier if everyone sticks together. Then he's arguing with me about it and the guy with the poison dies and ge blames it on me.

We barely get mines, he makes a quip about how I need to not die (fair, but I also had a toonnnnn more kills than him) that I let go. We kill Skolas aannnnddd.... dude kicks me before the chest. Because I told him to stick together. Blew my mind.

Needless to say, I doubt I'll being doing anymore lfg groups unless I'm the fireteam leader.

Now that the whole thing takes an hour and a half, I don't mind checkpoints. But give me my etheric light and cores straight from the boss at least.

I dont know what possessed me tonight but I got on crucible to get started on the exotic bounties I've refused to finish since the game launched in September. I hate PVP with a passion but I figured if I started tonight I could finish them during the week. Well I got them all done in one night. Im pretty mediocre at PVP so I was surprised it was so simple. Got my first Thorn, JuJu, and Invective tonight. The Thorn bounty seemed like it would be the worst one but Word of Crota, Swordbreaker, Truth for the win. Im almost disappointed with how easy it was the way Kotaku made it sound like the hardest thing ever.

Now All I need is the Crux of Crota to drop for me (it never will) then I'll focus on getting the 3 Prison of (Repetitive Torture) Elders guns.

Sooo much easier to die with the Hunter (gunslinger), but he's fun. Also digging the throwing knives

I dont know what possessed me tonight but I got on crucible to get started on the exotic bounties I've refused to finish since the game launched in September. I hate PVP with a passion but I figured if I started tonight I could finish them during the week. Well I got them all done in one night. Im pretty mediocre at PVP so I was surprised it was so simple. Got my first Thorn, JuJu, and Invective tonight. The Thorn bounty seemed like it would be the worst one but Word of Crota, Swordbreaker, Truth for the win. Im almost disappointed with how easy it was the way Kotaku made it sound like the hardest thing ever.

Now All I need is the Crux of Crota to drop for me (it never will) then I'll focus on getting the 3 Prison of (Repetitive Torture) Elders guns.

I imagine Thorn is a lot easier with Word. I did it without a primary and it was brutal. Bad Juju was easy though.

And there's 4 PoE guns. With 3 burns each. So that's 12 to get! [emoji14]

You picked a good time. The majority of "high skill" pvp players are in Trials of Osiris. Running viewers and whatnot. Not to mention there is a big PvP tournament going down this weekend.

Thorn bounty was awful during the first month or so because the only Void was secondaries (i.e. fusion rifles, shorties and snipes) or LMG and Rockets. Thankfully we got the VoG later but you still had to rely on a random drop of Corrective Measure or Atheon Epilogue.

I have an elder cipher that will hopefully be ready by tomorrow night, so I am planning on doing the 34 and just repeating the (really easy) boss by committing suicide after he drops. So if you have one yourself or want to do a 34, just let me know.

Really? If you just take him down slow, I think it's way better. Gotten him first try twice this week.
