I haven't played in awhile and I'm actually enjoying it. I'm playing a lot of other games right now and I'm not sure I'll be getting TTK right away if at all.

Get that group together again (or any group) and I can run sword. Usually takes me about 2-3 attempts to warm up.

I'll probably have to find another group to play with. I'm going to attempt the raid again tonight. I just need to do this and POE on hard to finish the Moments of Triumph.

lol, ok that makes more sense after the edit. I was trying to figure out how thorn would work for Crota, never heard of that one.

I have a gally that's practically unleveled. I'm close to unlocking the missile lock ability with it. But last night we had 6 guys and it was a complete joke.

I finally beat Crota on Hard last night with some randoms off the Bungie forums. VoG is definitely IMO the better and more enjoyable raid. All I have to do now is the POE 35. I'm only level 32 with my Titan.

I loved both raids. Crota is easier IMO. I am really looking forward to the Take King raid.

They're both enjoyable I just find the Crota Raid has more "cheese" than the Vault of Glass.

I'm curious to see what this Heroic Kings Fall Raid is.

Always felt like Crota was built to be more accessible. Pretty sure lots of people didn't fully experience VoG until after TDB hit. There was more skill/teamwork in the Vault than any part of Crota's End. Given that we have had a year to find friends/raid groups the reddit fire team and LFGs growth I fully expect Kings Fall to be more inline with The Vault.

Bungie said Crota was supposed to be more like an action movie, where you were always running and gunning, but I find it to be very stand and shoot. You have to run from lamp to lamp, but every lamp(ish) you have to stop and shoot. You have to stand on the totems and plates and shoot. You have to stand in a hallway and shoot the shriekers. You stand in the tower and shoot the wizards, you stand inside and shoot it yut. You stand by the crystal and shoot, you stand in a doorway or on a ledge and shoot. 90% of the thing is standing and shooting.

I guess I just do Crota differently. The abyss I barely stop moving. I don't stand at a lamp long at all and I'm moving and shooting most of the time, unless I'm using a hunter. The hallway to that one chest, I'm running through. I don't recall ever standing and shooting the shriekers, it's normally run in and rocket them, and Ir Yut is frantic, especially on hard where you have limited time so you can't clear the knights.

played a lot today, got in a few terrible groups that just couldn't do anything. I was a 33 in the 34 PoE, and I was basically carrying them.
finally found a group that were good and we blew through the 34 PoE, which allowed be to get to 34 on my Warlock. found 2 guys that was at Skolas, and we knocked that out with only a single wipe.

so I was able to complete the moments of triumph.
got a crappy rocket launcher from it, but also got the elder cipher.

now to try and get my others characters to 34.

I'm just happy the Moments of Triumph is extended. I realized I still have to do 26 more public events and the Skolas POE.
