I thought those relic fusion rifles that we can turn into the gunsmith is related to the Sleeper Simulant. Maybe after we collect so many of those, something is unlocked in that area.

Could always be, but considering there is no way to track them, not a quest, not grimoire, nothing, it seems very unlike how anything else is handled (the calcified fragments, which are apparently leading to an exotic, are tracked via grimoire). Plus, if it was those things, I would think someone would have found it by now unless you need an ungodly amount which, since there is no way to farm them, would be the most obnoxious thing they've ever done in game. Even worse than all the **** you have to go through to get crappy little nechrocasm, at least it was a set drop from a set enemy.


Edit: started picking up my guns from the gunmaster, the hakke Lyudmila pulse rifle was disappointing. It has over twice the impact as my villainy but, I guess because of the fourth bullet per burst, it does 15% less damage per bullet. Combine that with the fourth bullet not being on target (it and my villainy have nearly the same stability but the fourth bullet is too much and strays), the much slower reload, it means my villainy is a better dps machine. Even got it with glass half full and it still isn't an improvement over the villainy. Shotgun and scout have good perks as well but haven't tried them yet.

Maybe Sleeper is a combination of the two. As far as I know, nobody has gotten more than 4 of those fusion Rifles. The speculation is that you need 5. Maybe you can only get the fifth from that room in the sabre strike or something similar? It'd be pretty random for those 4 relics to be there just for gunsmith rep.

So your level 3 gunsmith exotics are class specific, and the Ace of Spades does the gun twirl of TLW, pretty cool gun, just a little slow on the fire rate IMO.

Pleasantly surprised with taken king expansion, brought some fun back to game for me. Went through initial taken king story, where you get gun choice as reward, picked Auto (an answering chord), then did the mission on Venus to open up nightstalker, pretty cool subclass. just getting use to the new xp and light system. Level 40, light at 205. So basically my old exotic red death(160 attack) is not as powerful as the new taken king items? I am assuming the exotic taken king armor and weapons will be much better than before expansion?

So I actually like TTK. I started playing again. Don't like the heroic strike playlist only has like 6 strikes again as they mislead consumers saying they would have more strikes. But hopefully they start to roll them out. I don't think they will, but whatever. I wish they had exotic armor quests and it's pretty upsetting the hunter has no new chest pieces yet.

I'm already like 298 light. Once I get this new sniper I'll be like 301. Beat every part of the raid except war priest because my team wasn't ready for that. All in all it's cool. I like the quests that give you exotics instead of just drops in nightfall. The only thing now is I feel like once you do all the quests for story and etc there's nothing else to do but raid, again...

I know you can get the faction quests and the gunsmith quests but as of now after doing all the story, the petra and variks stuff I'm just like...so I gotta raid again?

I do like that people aren't spamming thorn in PVP but shotguns are still running wild. It's actually funny to see ppl running full steam with secondary instead of using their primary. I run a AR/Pulse Rifle & Fusion setup tho so my K/D is usually pretty sweet.

Sidenote. I found out I was in the top 2% for precision kills in PVP so obviously I'm a beast lol. My thoughts so far on TTK.

there's a fusion rifle relic that'll randomly drop in patrols. You can turn that in for 200 rep.

Oh yeah, I did get that the other day now that you say it.

I was so pissed it wasn't an actual Legendary I forgot, lol

a friend and i will need a 3rd for the black spindle and would be much better to deal with someone from this community if possible instead of lfg pugs. If interested i'll be online around 6 or 6:30pm est. ill be on my 280+ titan hammer time guardian.

Anyone wanna group up for the sniper tonight around 830 est or so? All of my buddies I play with will be sleeping before work, and I'd rather not beat my head off the wall trying to solo it.

So, the black hammer runestone you get 100 Eris rep for was a clue to the black spindle location. Perhaps the fusion rifle things are similar clues?

After trying for a while, I finally got the Black Spindle, and it helped me get to 300 light.

I just did the dark blade strike for the sword twice. Still no completion. This has to be the dumbest thing ever. I get you have to get them all down low then kill them but I have 1 guy killed and then it's not counting when we kill the boss. Dumb as hell.
