Well, it IS officially year 3 so i'm not surprised. We'll probably see a new Thorn(Which i bet will be called The Rose for lore purposes and "something new") and Ice Breaker as well...

I like pretty everything I am seeing, especially presuming some of those shots are from the raid and it's going to be a little more open and not so cave dungeon-y.

Aside from watching the trailer, they really didn't say too much.

The flaming axe is like a scorch cannon or hive sword, so you can't keep it.

Price is $30, no PS3/360.

What they said was there wouldn't be more paid DLC before Destiny 2 after TTK, that new missions and events would trickle out, but that was when Destiny 2 was to be out before next year. They changed the plans and rather than leave things stale until then they pushed a paid DLC/raid. This seems to be Taken King level of content, so I'm surprised it's not $40.

They didn't though, if you go back and look. They said that there wouldn't be DLC before Destiny 2 and that Eververse would pay for new missions and events. There's a distinction there. A lot of other blogs and such were reporting DLC, but that's not what Bungie said.

I'm not really too worried about $30 especially if it's good, a lot of people will be outraged though as if Bungie is the only one that does this.
