Is the iron gjallarhorn just black? Everything else the same?


Kinda lame that new guys can just buy the game and instantly get the most revered gun in destiny history. A gun that built its own real world lore amongst the fans. Can now just be bought by buying the game a couple hours before it releases. Weird.

I wonder how all the guys who swore gjallarhorn ruined destiny are feeling about this. Probably preordered the dlc twice already.

I just want them to bring back elemental primaries already.

Only difference is the color, and I'm pretty sure they said you still have to do the questline, it's just if you preordered you get a black one (I'm guessing you'll get it in black and it will unlock the normal one in kiosk).

Elemental Primaries are dumb IMO unless all guns can have them, at least all legendary/exotics.

Otherwise it makes a ton of guns completely useless from the beginning because it's much better to have one with an element.

A ton of guns will always be completely useless from the beginning. This is destiny after all. People will always use the easiest to acquire God rolls the game gives them. Whether it's fatebringer or it's a printable Hung Hury God roll from dead orbit.

Has less to do with elements and more to do with the rolls. Always has been, always will be. Bring elements back.

I only cared about elementals when I was doing nightfalls other than that they were meh.

I loved my year 1 Trials solar hand cannon because it was the only one in the game. But I only used it on solar burn NFs.

Just make an item like etheric light to add an element to whatever primary you like (minus exotics, they should be static) and I'm good.

The raid really has me hyped. Something in the open and not against damn hive. Implied on the stream that the cat themed hunter gear was new Trials gear.

And that better be an exotic Kvostov not just a legendary dammit.

Definitely pumped for this. Been playing a LOT of Destiny since the spring update, and RoI looks fantastic.

Just make an item like etheric light to add an element to whatever primary you like (minus exotics, they should be static) and I'm good.

The raid really has me hyped. Something in the open and not against damn hive. Implied on the stream that the cat themed hunter gear was new Trials gear.

And that better be an exotic Kvostov not just a legendary dammit.

I didn't catch that, but it would make sense as it fits with the Egyptian thing they do.

So I guess the new gear they showed was a Hunter in trials, Warlock in Iron Banner, and Titan in the raid armor.

I'm very interested by the new DLC. I may have to reinstall Destiny in the coming weeks and get back into the swing of things.

One thing I didn't like that I've heard is the requirement for all the previous DLCs to have been purchased....I get the business reason for it, but for folks that were out prior to TTK making them buy it after the fact bothers me. Like I said I get the why, I just don't like it.

It's probably MUCH less problematic to have a requirement of everything available when trying to unlock new content, you could get some weird conflicts like that.

I wonder if they will do an all in one bundle like they did for TTK, or maybe drop TTK prices.

Right now is the best time to reinstall man. Everything is so much more user friendly, and the grind is far more tolerable thanks to 100% infusion. I had a blast getting to 334 (still a class item and artifact away from 335) just running strikes and Crucible with boosters to get rep packages, on top of the Iron Banner which drops loot like candy now.

I played WAY more frequently back when the game first dropped, but Destiny in its current iteration is by far the best it's ever been.

I stopped playing Destiny consistently around October of last year. I beat the Kings Fall Raid and then just kind of lost interest. Other games have come and gone and I just never really got back to Destiny.

I'm crazy addicted to Overwatch right now but once I get burnt out on that, I'll probably reinstall Destiny and run a game rotation of Destiny, GTA 5 and Overwatch until the fall when the sports games come out and Destiny's new expansion.
