I stopped playing Destiny consistently around October of last year. I beat the Kings Fall Raid and then just kind of lost interest. Other games have come and gone and I just never really got back to Destiny.

I'm crazy addicted to Overwatch right now but once I get burnt out on that, I'll probably reinstall Destiny and run a game rotation of Destiny, GTA 5 and Overwatch until the fall when the sports games come out and Destiny's new expansion.

Same story here. Played TTK until Fallout hit, then didn't touch it until the Spring update. Been a steady rotation of Destiny and Witcher 3 ever since.

Guessing this is the last expansion for Destiny. It looking like it going to be even better than TTK. Can't wait to hear all the lore surrounding the Iron Lords and this new enemy. Really disappointed that the flaming axe is a relic. The new armor and weapons are looking nice. I want that fur cloak Lord Salidin wore in the trailer.

This is minor but I hope they have cloaks and marks that change with the shader in this expansion. This was the only think I disliked about the TTK class items.

I would like them to take off the light level of the class items so I can wear older stuff without it bringing down my light level.

What they said was there wouldn't be more paid DLC before Destiny 2 after TTK, that new missions and events would trickle out, but that was when Destiny 2 was to be out before next year. They changed the plans and rather than leave things stale until then they pushed a paid DLC/raid. This seems to be Taken King level of content, so I'm surprised it's not $40.

I think they would be hard pressed to get $40 for DLC for a game that's 2 years old and are "forcing" last gen folks to upgrade to a new console.

I don't know if anyone is still on last gen, but this won't be available for PS3/360, but they're supposedly setting up a transfer thing to Ps4/X1

Still effectively charging $30 for the new dlc but then selling the others for $10 as an add-on since its old at this point. I think that would be a fabulous deal for people that didn't already have all of it.

And also, for people that don't have the newest gen that might complain, that's on them. At this point they aren't terribly expensive and gaming is still a luxury in my eyes. Gaming companies can only support older gens for so long until they become a burden and it's clear in this case it's held some things back.

From the chart they showed, I believe you have to transfer before August? Datto had a really video on it.

I don't get it, I thought there was always a way to transfer to an upgraded system. Now they're putting a end date on it?

Also, kinda poop that you have to stay in the same family of console when you upgrade. Rockstar did their upgrade system for Grand Theft Auto flawlessly in that regard. Disappointed in bungie there. ESPECIALLY with their exclusivity deals with PlayStation. 360 guys would jump to PlayStation easily.

They are just splitting the two. Right now, as long as you log in with the same PSN, you could play the same guardians in Destiny on PS4 or PS3. When this new DLC drops, since it's not on PS3, there will be a split, you'll have PS3 guardians/vault/etc and PS4 guardians/vault/etc.

Well, the Trials grind was all worth it last night. Been playing it for weeks in hopes of a Doctrine, and on my first gold tier package, I got one to drop with counterbalance. My other buddy who also was in search of one got one to drop off of his first gold as well, albeit with rodeo. Not sure how good that one is, but we were both mowing people down.

On our next gold package with a second character, I nabbed an Inward Lamp with full auto and outlaw. Seems like it will be a decent PvE scout rifle if anything. Always cool to get more rare weapons regardless. Then, I had also gotten a secondary exotic engram to drop in the last match, and it FINALLY turned into the Zen Meteor. That was the only exotic weapon I was missing minus the First Curse, and that quest can die in a fire.

I'd say I've used up all of my good RNG in one night. I fully expect garbage from here on out .

Congrats. You'd love my RNG. I've gone flawless 5 or 6 times my adept weapon each time has been a DoP.

Only dop I have has rodeo. From what I've read it sucks compared to the counter balance one.

Can't speak for the rodeo other than what my buddy was saying, but he said it still has some horizontal recoil. The CB one I got is a laser beam if you just slightly hold the right stick down. All of the recoil is straight up, and after a few shots, the recoil is gone.

I had an Arminius with counter balance and small bore, but it was nothing compared to the Doctrine. The addition of braced frame and persistence puts it over the top.

I just got one with rodeo from the gold tier package and I do ok it does drift left slightly until persistence kicks in. Would like the CB one though, but I cant complain with actually getting a Doctrine since I've played better with it, though I do better overall with Monte Carlo. Doctrine lets me use P&T though.
