Honestly I'm glad there is a bit more weapon variety now. Y1, not having Icebreaker or Gjallahorn was a pretty huge detriment, or at least put you way behind everyone else. It feels a bit more balanced now in that you can go a bunch of different ways with your loadout and still be fine. There isn't really a go-to gun, which allows for more diverse arrangements.

If only Bungie hadn't decided to completely kill your ability to get weapon parts. Now the reality is, without a stockpile, you can only upgrade sporadically, which limits your ability to be flexible in terms of your loadout. I really don't get their decisions sometimes.

I do use more weapons, in the primary slot, but my special and heavy loadouts are pretty much down to two rotations.

Black Spindle, or 1000 yard stare for special. Quillims Terminus or Raze Lighter for heavy. I use a Rocket Launcher for Trials.

But I do like feeling like I can use a variety of weapons in the primary slot and (with no elementals) not really feel like I am at a disadvantage.

Nirwen's Mercy and 1000 Yard Stare are my go to guns in PvP, regardless of the map.

Sniping on a shotgun heavy map really forces you to improve your skills and I'm loving it.

Well they give you 4 turns to beat the Warpriest & 6 for Golgoroth. Basically that's saying it should only take you 10 rotations to beat 2 bosses. We beat Oryx hard on the 4th run and I was like 306. Touch Of Malice has infinite ammo to stagger and dps oryx. It's a fully automatic fast firing scout rifle you don't have to reload.

If guys are getting killed or you're wiping at bosses besides Warpreist then your team probably isn't good. I've been on teams like that and I just left like nah I already know how this is gonna go.

There are still ppl that can't run relics in VOG which on Atheon is hard af considering teleportation is random. Then guys don't know which is Mars vs Venus. Templar is harder than Golgoroth because he moves, detains you and shoots at you. Golgorth shoots at 1 guy and there's really no way to die besides cursed thrall which grenades handle.

Crota was harder than Oryx because you risked getting 1 shot every run running sword. The bridge was cheesed every time but if guys actually had to run it, it would be harder than the Glyphs because of Ogres n Wizards.

I run sword and relics in VOG so maybe I'm just nice. But I've seen guys take multiple attempts to run sword with little success. Just because Kings Fall has more puzzles doesn't make it harder and once you figure out those the only challenge is staying alive. You don't have to get cleansed or shoot oracles. That part of Atheon alone is hard. Is or was considered levels but that's the point of raiding, to level up. Even 15 light levels below these enemies on hard I'm doing work. On hard VOG if you weren't max you get 1 shot by everything tier 2.

I've seen more ppl die on Hard VOG Templar than Oryx, so imo it's not that hard of a raid. I've never died during Warpriest or Golgoroth on hard. I don't really understand what you guys think is harder...

Right there with you, except I add a shotgun for most non-boss PvE (final round, full auto strongbow-d, near copycat of found verdict). I don't really switch up primaries anymore, I'm defaulting to hung jury.

I don't get some people. Got into a group today, and 1 guy wanted to skip totems for the warpriest, and didn't get why we wanted to do it for the drops. "You're just gonna have it all reset at the next DLC." Then seriously, why do the raid at all? Guy was the only one under 312 too (he was 307)

Went flawless tonight. Won games 8 and 9 5-0 and still had mercy. Got 310 Ahamkara's Spine, 318 Inward Lamp, and 303 Unseeing Eye. Not bad.

Trials is too much fun.

Finally got 45 fragments and Touch of Malice! Seems like a pretty sweet gun, though I haven't upgraded it fully yet. I assume it gets more useful when you can limit the amount of damage you take without reloading?

Just have to finish the Sleeper quest with that strike I absolutely abhor. What is the best way to get through the Warsat in the beginning? They left nowhere for cover with enemies spawning around the perimeter.

Easiest way is to glitch through and stand beneath it.

Also touch of malice really only shines in the daughters and oryx fights, where you have an invincibility bubble. It's usable outside of that, you just have to be really careful and it's really not worth the trouble. Best to use that exotic on something else when not at the end of the raid.

Man, the amount of times I killed myself in the CoO messing around with the Malice...

It was just such a cool gun that I wanted to use it all the time.

Tried sleeper simulant/1000 yard stare combo for warpriest and I won't warpriest any other way from now on, did about 30% more damage.

Also had this happen and it might be one of my favorite moments in Destiny.

Beat HM Orxy twice and both times I got an exotic armor and weapon to drop. Thought that was very strange never seen it before.

Edit, and **** if I will ever use the 38 jackolytes I have currently.
