Finally got 45 fragments. No quest start for Touch of Malice though. Guess i gotta actually beat Oryx first, completing the Old hunger quest? 3 raids so far and not yet. Gonna try tonight at the Daughters checkpoint


Gotten the shotgun, ghost, chest and feet so far though in those three runs.

You have to beat the raid with the quest active because you get three parts of the gun from the raid.

I just don't like rehashing old stuff over and over again. Like why can't they just give us 10 old and 15 new or at least more new than old? At this point I just play cuz it's still fun but sheesh

Yeah I don't get the hype for the old exotics. That's some EA tactics right there, remove a bunch of content then put it back in a couple years later and call it new. The only one I had used previously was The Armamentarium, and it was fun getting extra grenades, but there certainly is better.

I'm finding the loot from the new raid somewhat annoying. Same with the Nightfalls, which honestly I won't do at all anymore because they simply aren't worth the effort. I can't get my light up when I get either no gear or all the gear that drops is 300 light.

You doing hard or normal raid? I just raid up until the daughters every week and if we have 2 titans we run Oryx but there's really no point in running Oryx cuz he's just gonna take your shards. Or give you 2 shards so I just run it for loot now but it's not worth it really

As long as you had them for the House of Wolves changeover you should have the year 1 versions in your archive thing.

I'm pretty pissed now that I didn't keep all my year one exotics.

A lot of the old gear was good and there was no reason to get rid of it in the first place, especially since they are exotics.

There are a few good ones they announced, The Armamentarium is a great Titan exotic, one of the best even. MIDA was great too and a lot of people underrate that gun. No Land Beyond (all bias aside) is a wonderful and beautifully crafted gun, truly one of a kind but people make fun of it all the time because they can't use it.

A lot of these were greats and really well done, you should try them out before giving them judgement.

You'll have the blueprint in the kiosk though. That's what he meant, did you delete them prior to TTK?

Check your kiosk. If you've had them at any point they'll be there. So when year 2 drops you just need marks.

Im going to dread the day MIDA, Bones Hard Light and Symbiote come back. Thats 600 marks im gonna need if I dont get a lucky engram.

Wow. Got to rank 5 IB this morning with the weekly bounties and the rank 5 package dropped me 314 Nirwens Mercy and 310 ghost. I didnt know I could get drops that high only being 302 at the time. Since im probably not gonna do hard mode Oryx that pulse is awesome to get.


Oh and im STILL around 50% of the Chaperone bounty. Lmao. Ah well. Clash was much more fun in IB than control was.

I'm doing normal, can't get my light up high enough to do hard mode. At 303 right now. I can't even imagine how I'm going to get to 310.

It's just luck, man. You'll get a great run. And use those 3 of coins. Using exotics to infuse was huge for me. You don't need to be 310 to do HM. If you get up to 307, 308 or so, you can start hard mode. You'll have a hard time with Oryx, but it can be done. Totems and Warpriest are only 300 light, Golgorath and Daughters are only 310.

I'm doing normal, can't get my light up high enough to do hard mode. At 303 right now. I can't even imagine how I'm going to get to 310.

Honestly if you have a team to run you through it, 303 is fine up until Oryx. You'll probably get drops to make you higher on the way too.

Finally beat Oryx! The dummy gave me 2 pulse rifles though. I was like huh? Now I just need to head to phobos for ToM....

Hilariously half my team wasnt waiting for their orb to detonate and we didnt realize until about an hour in the attempt. Once we realized he died immediately
