ugh. I forgot to do the archive yesterday, so i'm hoping the next xtep is based on the daily reset tomorrow. Xur AND the Sleeper in the same day? I hope so.


Unfortunately, I don't think Bungie unlocked the other exotic armors yet, so Xur probably won't have anything unless he's selling a Zhalo. I want that bad boy so much. the Graviton helm maybe.

my titan has the worst luck. spent 2 hours on mars last night and got nothing but kill the targets.
this morning about 2 hours(not 100% playing, just going to the location and waiting, then working while waiting), still no warsat.

Edit: well, right after posting, warsat came out. just need to get the warsats on my Warlock now.

Im underwhelmed with the gun so far.

However I accept my crow when I assumed we'd have to wait a week for it. My bad Bungie.

Btw so why dont we have matchmaking on the Nightfall strike again? Is there even a real reason anymore?

Prior to year 2, best reason was so an AFK *** hat didn't get rewards for doing nothing. Now....*shrugs*

Well, Black Spindle wasn't supposed to be 310. It was messed up, and they said they were going to drop them to 290 but never did

Maxed it out (one heavy telemetry and about 20 motes. So far, one patrol of the deed naught for the bounty and my thoughts are....meh. Hold 7 shots, 3 in the mag (without extra fusion ammo) can one shot everything but the ricochet effect was lackluster at best. Two cabal were lined up and it did go through both but again "year 2 gjallerhorn" I don't think so. I hope I am missing something but early on no reason to take anything I currently use out of rotation.

Agreed, haven't tried it on anything bigger than a couple yellow guys on the dreadnaught. Not sure I can think of a scenario to use it in place of a rocket launcher (which is the closest weapon I can think of that we have currently that it compares to). If there are multiple targets, rockets will hit main target and adds better. Not sure if maybe there is a solid surface behind something you can hit twice?

Saw a couple of Vids from reddit. First, guy used it in PvP and killed himself with the ricochet it was funny.

Second, saw a group of them use it to down Atheon in under a minute. I was on my phone so the damage number was hard to see think it was around 50,000 per shot.

What they don't tell you beforehand for that vid is they were using a tether and weapons of light, it hit for 63k.

I dont see it taking up an exotic slot over the black spindle or touch of malice in the raid. In PVP I imagine people have a plethora of exotics that take precedence before that gun. It does alot of damage but the ammo reserve is so low it may not be worth it. Black spindle destroys it in DPS. Touch of maice kills it as well. Im sure some youtube guy will post some lol worthy montages with the gun buts its meh at best.

I feel like bungie was really afraid of making another Gjallarhorn. This new batch of exotics proves it. Some legendaries just outclass them. But Red Death is still god, I like that. Warlock's class exotic scout is a beast as well.

Yep I'm waiting for the Golgoroth fight vids want to see the damage with a teather and WoL.

Also I agree that Bungie has tried to learn from Year 1 and people never taking the Gjallerhorn out of thier heavy slot. Measured approach I suppose but the way this was sold, my early impressions are not to favorable at the moment.

Also, the shot package perk is being removed from ALL shotguns in 2.0.1 with eyes on this balancing out PvP.
