I love that they added new lines for Lord Shaxx. He was already one of my favorite NPC next to Cayde, now he just on a new level. Went on a 10 killstreak, and he shouted "Fight Forever Guardian". As soon as he said it I died, but it was pretty cool hearing it.
The IB has been great lately. Only seen maybe 1 or 2 games where no one on my team got anything, but the legendaries dropping left and right has been great. I prefer this IB where it encourages you to play more than grinding bounties.

Started playing the game again after Rise of Iron. Slowly building up my character who is at light level 332. You don't realize how pathetic your character really is until you enter the Iron Banner tournament and get completely and utterly destroyed. I played one round this morning and the team I was on lost by a score of something like 95 to 12. I could not get a single kill considering every player (but me apparently) has shielding.
Irrespective, having a lot of fun playing the game again. I find myself saying just one more activity and I'll be done but then keep playing for hours trying to get better equipment/weapons to raise my light level.Comment

Got on early this afternoon to hit rank 5 in the IB, but then found myself at Archon Forge.
I was gonna pass on IB since my light level was only 353, but I'm glad I didn't. Went from 353 to 361 since IB came back. I got some good rolls on the IB weapons. Got and pretty sick Pulse and Auto from IB. Also got a Devil you know with Range finder, rifle barrel, and hidden hand. Got the Ghost Angel cloak in the same package as well. It been a good week in the IB.

Was able to get into a group for the raid finally. However it was from the Seige Engine. I wasn't complain because being able to get into the raid and learn first had is better than watching a video.
It took us a while because people kept splitting up, but after like 7 tries we got it. Had some people leave and on the first try with new group we got it. Got 2 rockets at 366.
We activated the 4th monitor as well. So it was going good until we got to Aksis. We had 3 375+ that didn't want to switch with the low levels to help out. All through out Phase 1 they put the lowest LL on one side while the highest where on the other. We kept messing up on Phase 1, but pull through somehow. I kept suggesting we switch but no one listen. Phase 2 was just terreible, but they finally switched people around. Did like 15-20 tries until we got Aksis to 15% health, but someone missed the last Servitor. Was trying Aksis for 1-2 hours until I got off. Gonna give it a shot next week.
All in all, it actually like this raid a lot. It better than the TTK because it requires more communications. Got up to 363 thanks to it. Just need to increase my light more, to do better when fighting Aksis. Gonna try again next week, for now I'm a just work on my other Characters.
Where can I get a ghost from? The one I currently have is just 354, and it holding me back. I've been getting artifacts left and right, but I'm barely seeing ghost.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 10-07-2016, 05:40 PM.Comment

So is 365 light alright for iron banner or will I be scarred from the destruction in there. Been holding off on IB but hearing about all the great drops is making me interested.Comment

I had a buddy jump in my group earlier at 340 and he was doing good enough. I'd just jump in man, you're fine at 365.
On that note, Supremacy is amazing with a group. We had 5 of us running together and wound up rattling off 20 straight wins this morning. Got to rank 5 with my warlock yesterday, and in just those 20 games today I got both my hunter and titan to rank 5 as well. Wound up rolling a Clever Dragon from one of my bounties with counterbalance, hand laid stock, and armor piercing rounds. Been switching between that and the Palindrome with really good results.

I played at 353 on both my Hunter and Titan, and was hovering around the middle of the team most games. I seen a hand full of kills that wouldn't happen if it was regular crucible. So if your 365, you should be good for the most part.
Ghost are rare to come across. Haven't had one drop in days.Comment

LL doesn't seem to matter too much. I was still getting one-shotted by people 30 less my own light. I don't think there's any real disadavantage, or if there is I'm just not seeing it. Though my own light may have something to do with that as there aren't a ton of people up the ladder.
Did manage the first raid clear. Man that was intense, especially the end you're juggling everyone and we did manage to clear without a wipe on Aksis, but I don't know how. I actually got a load of loot from it, so overall not a bad deal. Only piece of armor I got was a chest, but I assume you can get gear at all slots like the older raids?Comment

I went from around 364 to 375 with Iron Banner this week. Also got a great IB scout rifle, rolled with Perfect Balance, Full Auto, and Zen Moment. It's pretty much Vision of Confluence without the elemental damage. It even has a similar scope.Comment

Beat the raid with random Friday and got the scout, auto, shotgun, fusion, rocket, arms, chest and artifact. Awesome haul. Got two exotics out the chest and did the monitors as well.
If course now i have to lead my whiny group through on how to do the encounters next. Sigh. At least I have a second Hunter
