Re: Dark Souls II
Thanks Ben. So what you are saying isSpoilerfrom Majula, go into that castle entrance that leads to the forest of Giants and look for another path that doesn't follow the water? I must have missed that, or misread what you meant.
And as for the estus. I need to look at what I have and even how to use it. I believe I got some in the well initially, but I don't even know where to find more or how to use it. I have not read too many guides, just now and then pop on here and read some reddit posts so I am freelancing a lot here.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Dark Souls II
One concern I now have about the game is co-op'ing. FROM recently mentioned that some people are gaining their humanity back after a successful boss co-op fight as a result of a bug.
Well, that's sort of a problem. Not the getting humanity part, but the fact that it's a glitch. Co-op'ing successfully should ALWAYS give you your humanity back (or there should at least be a system in place where it works like a drop %). There is a finite amount of effigy's in the world as it is, and given the massive penalties for not being human, it's going to turn the game from being hard to impossible for a lot of people to move on.
It makes even less sense when you consider DS1 gave players humanities for it.Writer for Operation Sports

Man, I'm either underleveled or I need to spend more points in my gear. Heidei's place is kicking my *** boss wise. It's cool to seeSpoilerOrnstein back, especially without his large buddySpoilerthe PursuerComment

Re: Dark Souls II
lol I'm level 80 and decided to take a break going through some areas. I decided to backtrack and just now realized there was a locked door to find the pursuer. After getting my adaptability up, I'm finding most boss fights easy.
I noticed you actually can roll into attacks like in past games, you just had to time it a little differently. Once I got that down, I've been destroying every boss. Adaptability also helps give me some leeway on timing. I'd suggest you all add points into that stat. Makes it a bit more forgiving.

Pharros door is awesome! I love seeing how far people can get.
dont understand why people disconnect their internet when they get summoned. You don't lose anything. You get summoned to someone else's world and get a bonus for completing it. If not you get sent back to your world where you left off

Progress!
So theSpoilerDragonriderSpoilerwas an easier fight than expected, as he was really slugish and I just rolled into his attacks(since he had a long weapon)
Made it toSpoilerthe Warf(think it's the Warf)SpoilerpiratesSpoilerthat same female NPC from the Bastille at the bonfire leading from Heidei's to the Warf, only for her to vanish againComment
