It's like the polar opposite of XIII, which going from that to XII was eye-opening to say the least.
Sounds great, I just threw in FFX into my PS3 and it worked! So I guess my PS3 is Backwards Compatible.

There are also remakes of Ultima's 5 and 6 that can be played in the Dungeon Siege engine. Those turned out excellent.

        Gee, all of 5 minutes.

I forgot about those games those were solid, decent story but good for a dungeon crawler type game.

I picked up the release of the enhanced version of Baldur's Gate a few days ago, that game was and still is a classic. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of that style who missed out on it originally.

Played the original game, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights series. 5 minutes was all it took. The game simply didn't age well. So recommend away my friend. ;p

Agree on the party system comment, though I believe Dragons Age (1st one) allowed for the party/pause style of combat.

Neverwinter Nights would be a better pickup at $4.99 than Baldur's Gate, especially if all of the Mods still work that are out there.

Balders gate enhanced edition is out for the PC and Ipad now. I played the original on my PC and it was fantastic.

Wasteland 2 is coming out in 2013. Can't wait for that.
