Please don't be turned off by the turned based nature of this game. At first when I bought it I was thinking Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Orge, both games that I like very much, but this game is much deeper. The strategic decisions that you have to make in between battles are what makes it stand out. The research and engineering angle is absolutely amazing.

      Dishonored is also fantastic.

I've played both games. They aren't comparable really in any way.

Sleeping Dogs was a great game, never got bored with the side missions and the flow of the game was very well crafted. Overall SD has a very GTA feel to it but again it was nicely done. I played through the game once and that was enough for me. I don't know anyone who hasn't enjoyed this game. I consider it a must buy.

XCOM is a ton of fun but being a turn based rpg its a lot more cerebral than a game like Sleeping Dogs. I never play rpgs but this game has me hooked. Its challenging even on the easiest of settings. I can see myself playing through this a few times. Its a nice change of pace from most games and you really have to take your time and learn the ins and outs of how to build the game as you progress. I also consider this a must buy.

If you want another well thought out shooter with a GTA feel to it then Sleeping Dogs would be your choice.

If you want a game based on strategy and evolution XCOM would be your choice.

This has been very helpful, so thanks to everyone for the feedback. I decided to hold off and get Sleeping Dogs at some point when the price drops below $30. For now I just got a PSN card and put money down on Gears of War. There are so many games coming out between Feb-May i am just going focus my attn on those.

Although, I did decide to purchase Vanquish off of PSN. Having a blast with it so far. I highly recommend in for anyone who is a sci-fi and shooter fan. Plays like a fast-paced Gears with robots.

Sleeping Dogs $29.99 starting today at Best Buy this week's sales add. Probably won't find it this cheap for awhile. https://deals.bestbuy.com/#!/video+games
