Has anyone actually done all of the question marks in Skellige? I didn’t on my first play thru and it’s not looking good for this one, either. Just waaay too many and I’m not a big fan of riding in the boats.

I think I did all but 2 or 3 on Xbox until I gave up and got worn down. At first it was awesome travelling through the most beautiful area in the game but then it got to be so much back and forth and boat travel (as you mention)

Having too many things to do is a good problem to have I guess!

Finishing up my second playthrough (and first of Blood and Wine) and just finished:

        Spoiler

Witcher is hands down my number one game of all time. I'm anticipating going through it a third time in several months after finishing the novels and trying to play other games.

Yeah, it was in The Land of a Thousand Fables that I definitely decided that this game is the GOAT. Glad I got this quest in my first playthrough. I'm yet to start my second run, too many other games to play for now.

I'm rushing through Final Fantasy XV atm and damn, even though it has the best graphics I've seen in this generation, Witcher really makes this game look bad. It will be hard to get any hooked to other RPGs if they don't step it up and take CDPR as a role model.

This has been my problem and why I am on my 4th play thru. I start playing something else and I get into it. Then I am like "I would rather play the Witcher, its just a better game". Then a couple of days later I am back playing the Witcher. It's funny but it is almost like I miss the "people" in the world. I start playing and I want to go ride around and check on people. There is this group of kids in a house in Velen. I will purposely take the long way around just to check on them and leave them some food. They don't always interact with me but I put food in a box anyway. LOL

Finished everything (other than all the treasure hunts) at 136 hours. Sad having to shelve it. Grabbed Witcher 2 for cheap at GameStop and after I read all the books I'll give it a go leading to playthrough three.

In the meantime I'm going to try God of War and then either Persona or DQXI for my RPG fix.

Speaking of Witcher 2, I think it's like 2 or 3 bucks on steam right now. I'm going to pick it up and give it a go later on this year.

                  Although, Red Dead 2 looms....

Hoping I can finish up my 2nd Witcher 3 run before then.

                    Re: The Witcher 3

I played Witcher 2 shortly after its release. It was the most visually impressive game I've seen until close to the end of the previous generation (first time in my life I saw graphic options like ambient occlusion and DOF), but I gave up mid-game because I found it too hard and complicated. It actually made me resist buying Witcher 3, I would have missed it if it wasn't for the universal praise.

So, apparently I missed my chance to kill Radovid and Redania won the war. I guess it’s probably because I broke Dijkstra’s leg. Hate that they’re killing all of the witches and non-humans. 😞

That happened to me on my second playthrough. I was just sick of Dijkstra's crap...so *snap*.

I never started Blood and Wine in my first play through, so this is feeling like a whole new game to me. Toussaint is absolutely GORGEOUS. Some of the music in Horizon:Zero Dawn sounds like it was taken directly from here. I was afraid that I was going to try and rush through it to get to Spiderman, but it hasn't happened. Loving it!

Blood & Wine is excellent and visually, looked great and even better now in 4K and HDR. Both expansions were an easy 9/10 for me and in my opinion, the standard in which all DLC and expansions are judged.
