Yeah you find the diagrams for the witcher gear, I think the treasure hunts cover all the witcher gear, and you start with basic, then you take that item and make it enhanced, then superior, then master. It's the same item, you're not making a new one each time. Its level tiered, I think at 26 I get to upgrade from enhanced to superior, and 31 from superior to master.

How do you know when you can upgrade? I have all the diagrams for griffin and built it all (plan on doing cat when I level up a bit more). I just don't see any option or information about when and how to level up that specific gear

I'm curious what you guys do with all of your extra gear (armor and weapons). In particular, the specific Witcher gear.

I love getting the armor schematics and having them made for me but I just can't bring myself to sell my old sets once I get a new one. Is there any place to store gear that you don't want to get rid of?

I know this isn't The Elder Scrolls but I'd love a home where I can store things. It would be great to have all the different Witcher armors and weapons displayed in an armory. I play on PC so perhaps there will be a mod for it eventually but as for now, am I just out of luck? Should I just get over it and sell my old stuff? What do you guys do?

If there's not a mod for it already on PC I'm sure there we will be on soon. Not having a storage space/area kind of bugs me. I wonder if player housing will be introduced in an expansion at some point. As a console version owner, I may be out of luck in that regard.

I had a solid Weekend with this game.

I went from 7 to 12, knocked out several side missions and a few contracts as well as finally making the trip to Novigrad and started making headway on the main story objectives there. I never would have spent this much time on a single player game a few years ago. I had too much going on in my life. As it turns out, I have a pretty boring life when I'm away from work here. Having a legit game like this to help fill that long weekend void really is nice. I don't dread the boredom of the weekend anymore... I should appreciate having nothing to do while it lasts.


A few comments from some side quests

Jenny O' The Woods

Spoiler

Fairly easy side quests to complete once I got to the Wraith. I think It's because I was lvl 11 before I went back to complete it. It took a few times getting smacked around to realize what was going on as she econtinued to regenerate health until the clones were destroyed. I started using my bombs to dispose of them quickly. I did cheat the system a bit and ran a short ways away to meditate twice. I think that's what is going to ultimately lead to me going up on the difficulty. I like that meditation regenerated health, but I shouldn't be able to meditate and go right back into battle with my opponent having the same health. She should have regenerated health when I meditated.

Wild At Heart

Fairly easy side quest. Just like with Jenny O' The Woods, I didn't go back to it until I was level 11 so disposing of the Werewolf was cake, especially after learning valuable lessons with a previous Werewolf. What decision did you guys make there ? I chose to save the chick and destroy the Werewolf. I know she was a bitch and probably deserved to die for what she did, but I couldn't let someone die in front of me like that. I'm too nice of a Witcher sometimes, but occasionally I do make harsh decisions.

You can just find an abandoned house/hut or a spot that is near a fast travel sign and leave there any equipment/inventory items you don't want to carry with you. It will always be there as NPCs don't interact with loot.

Regarding Wild At Heart:

This was one of my favorite side quests. It was a really compelling mystery and it was very sad and touching.

I decided I had to take care of the sister, because to me she seemed like the real monster in all this. But I genuinely felt terrible about the whole situation all around. His shock at losing his wife to his own sister in law was disturbing and it really resonated with me.

I can't remember now, but I think I had to kill the husband too. Like I put him out of his misery at his request but I could be remembering it wrong. So many amazing side quests it's hard to keep track sometimes.

EDIT: That's right. I let the werewolf kill her and then I killed him. The post above jogged my memory. LOL! Great quest!

I saved her, she was naive and kind of ****ty, but what kind of witcher would I be letting the werewolf get revenge? Especially for something that was an accident and caused just as much by the werewolf thinking he could keep his secret? The whole situation was doomed from the start.

Diagrams? Are they part of any treasure hunt /quests or just completely random? Thanks for the help

They are everywhere, but since I got it in Novigrad it was either from a shop or from winning a hand of gwent.
