The latest patch still didn't fix the bugged Most Wanted contract quest.

Re: The Witcher 3
End game:
Spoiler
It was really odd returning to White Orchard at the end of the game. I felt I was coming back around to the top of the circle. Watching the inn-keeper put back up the Temeria shield was pretty neat.
Anyway, end game summary:
Keira Metz and Lambert ran off and adventured together. I got a chuckle out of this thought.
I completed the Reason of State subplot and helped ensure a free Temeria for Roche, Thalen, and Ves. Djikstra had to be put down because he thought it would be wise to fool 4 well-armed conspirators.
As a result Radovid is dead which meant Emries remained in power. Emries upheld his deal with Roche for a sovereign Temeria as well as leaving the newly reunited Lodge of Sorceresses alone.
In Skellige Cerys enjoys a prosperous rule as she focuses on the building and improvement of her kingdom and people rather than wage war on foreign shores.
Geralt and Triss settled down in Kovir where Geralt retired from witchering and Triss advises the king.
And Ciri lives and takes up Geralt's place in the world as the ashen haired witcher.

Re: The Witcher 3
This patch still hasnt fixed the statueette quests. I just tried it again and same issue as before, after the initial cutscene with Triss, it just stops. No advancement. Im just gonna skip them then.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: The Witcher 3
This game, this game... I love it!
Well, the patch fixed all my bugged quests.
Now on a side note I get this wierd invicible feeling and go all chest puffed out manly prancing(yes prancing is manly when The Witcher does it) about slaying anything I dislike, then bam out of nowhere I get slaughtered. Sufficently not good for my ego. On a side note this game is so manly, I may be becoming a lesbian
nothing wrong with that. Just a lot of testosterone in this adventure.
On a more serious note, How many endings are there? Cause I feel like choices I am making may have a long term impact.Last edited by SpritePuck; 08-11-2015, 06:50 PM.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I started up a second playthrough this time upping the difficulty to Death March. I wasn't sure how big of a difference it would be coming off of Blood and Broken Bones, but man I am having no trouble going through piles of water and food. Adjusting combat strategy is finally coming along. Each fight feels like a dance of in-and-outs with each enemy. I imagine once I start unlocking more abilities that I will have to craft my character slots to suit each encounter which is not something I found necessary in my initial playthrough.
I'm also trying to do each quest as it comes to me and hopefully do them all in order of my character level. Of course this will mean more traveling, but I'm dying to get back to Skellige and into Yenn's arms this go around. Currently I am seeking out the pellar and have the Crookbag girls to go chat with.
While the gameplay is fairly simplistic somehow going through the game again doesn't seem daunting to me like with other games. Arkham Knight is fairly short in comparison, but I barely go through the first 1/4 of New Game Plus before I went back to The Witcher. Its almost refreshing to start again and have the world wide open for you to discover.

Re: The Witcher 3
In my ending
SpoilerCiri became the queen of her father's empire. I thought that was waaaaay more badass then her just becoming a witcher. I was also gifted a black stallion from her dad. Hes a badass too.Comment

I think that aspect of the ending is based on..
SpoilerWhat you tell Emhry when Geralt goes to tell what happened to Ciri. I think I told him that Ciri thought he was a terrible father. I can't remember the exact words used.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
@ Fresh
I started a second play through, this time on Death March as well and got killed three times in the opening scene with Vessimir where you fight a pack of ghouls.
The biggest difference, at least at a lower level (think I'm level 4 right now), is that it's nearly impossible to take on multiple enemies at once or in a haphazard manner. On Death March I've been killed by a pack of wolves, twice by bandit camps and a few times at monster nests. Before I could run into a group of monsters/people and swing away, use Quen, then roll out to safety - rinse and repeat.
Now I try to separate one enemy from the pack and pick them off and slowly work my way through the group. I also use Axii a lot now to disable humans with a shield or battle ax. Those two were giving me a lot of trouble so now I kill all of the other enemies first, then Axii on the shield/ax guy and hop behind him while he's dazed and do a strong sword swing. Usually kills them in one shot. I also completely run away sometimes when I'm overwhelmed, live to fight another day! lol. Never did that on lower difficulty levels.
Once I adjusted and figured out how Death March works it's not all that difficult, you just have to be far more patient and strategic. But as long as you stick to smart fighting you'll be fine. I still can't get a solid hold on parrying though, very frustrating."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I think you're the first I've seen with that ending, which is cool.

SpoilerIf you take Ciri to him before Ciri's fight with the Crookback Bog Hags then that will result in her becoming empress.
Croockback Bog Hags:
SpoilerI'm really, *really* hoping we get to go after the escaped witch in one of the expansions. I'm still sore I didn't get all of their heads and she swiped Ciri's medallion.

Re: The Witcher 3
SpoilerI didn't get a horse though. I saved some runaway horse as I was heading out to go hunt at the beginning of the epilogue. Do I need to go somewhere after the game resets to get it?Last edited by aukevin; 08-12-2015, 11:37 AM.
