I don't think it will let you start until it reads a completed save file

I still have to complete the first run through and don't want this DL to somehow mess it up. Just want to make sure I can choose to start a new one at a later time and take advantage of the contents down the road.

It won't mess it up. It's an option when you select New Game from the Main Menu.

I think I will keep rolling with my non New Game Plus run through on Death March. Even with the upscaled enemies I found the opening to White Orchard being far too easy and lot more manageable than normal.

          The Witcher 3

It's hard to go back to other games that don't let you make choices that influence the story. That's the Witcher 3's strongest point in my opinion.

I just can't do Elder Scrolls Online for that reason

I couldn't agree more. This part of the game really makes playing it through again something I want to do. I'm not usually that keen on playing a storyline through again because in most cases you already know it's going to play out. Can't say that I made the smartest choices during my initial play through, lol, some characters have died an untimely death because of Geralt ' s smart mouth (in my game) hahaha

Does anyone have any tips for fighting alghouls? I don't see them in the bestiary, I am level 7 and the ones I recently fought were level 5 but they pretty much destroyed me.

Use Axii. Makes them retract their spikes and they won't damage you when you attack them.

With remakes popping up left and right. I would love a remake of the original witcher.

I would so be on board with this. Remake 1 and 2 in a collectors set, heck yeah!

I still have to do Roche's storyline in 2.

I was late getting into 3 because I just had to play 1 and 2 again before hand. There can never be too much Witcher in my life.

If they did this, they should rework the story to fit-in more with Witchers 2 and 3 so that the trilogy is more cohesive.
