This game does look really good, I'm just concerned getting both this and BF4 is going to result in some FPS burnout. Either that or I'll just find myself bored with either or both, so I'm not entirely sure what to do (whether it warrants a Day 1 purchase yet). That said, the game still looks quite impressive.

I plan on getting this at launch. Getting BF4 sometime in 2014.

Not saying that is the definite course to pursue, but I get what you are saying about FPS burnout.

Eurogamer - Killzone Shadow Fall: not just a pretty face

The team at Amsterdam's Guerrilla games set themselves not one, but two big challenges with Killzone Shadow Fall. The first was to make the jump to PS4 and deliver a launch game for Sony's new console. The second was to take Killzone back to the drawing board.

That's a lot to take on in two and a half years, but the risk was calculated - and visiting the studio in Amsterdam this week to play both campaign levels and multiplayer, I felt like it might pay off. Shadow Fall has a more open design based on large levels and flexible gameplay systems, rather than scripted spectacle in a COD-style corridor. Killzone - which has seemed like something of an also-ran of the recent FPS scene - is reclaiming a personality of its own. It's still nothing new, perhaps, but it's looking like a very solid and well-sorted launch game for the PS4. And, yes, it does have loads of graphics. Absolutely tons of the things.

I feel the same way. I'm going BF4 first, but I prefer the truer-to-life stuff than the more exotic/futuristic weapons, locales, etc. of the Killzone. I will definitely own Killzone at some point, but I can't see picking up 2 FPS as my first two games. I'm going with BF4 and either 2k14 or Madden.

That being said, Killzone:SF DEFINITELY has the most impressive visuals I've seen of next-gen so far.. so I hope I don't regret my decision to hold off..

Yeah I don't think I could grab 2 FPS's on launch. I'll probably wait until the first map pack releases for Killzone or unless I can find a cheaper copy somewhere.

Evidently, KZSF might be in stores tomorrow. Lots of people have been called or texted by Gamestop telling them the game will be available tomorrow. I called my local Gamestop and they said they have not heard anything. We are the last to get anything though.

I hope it is true, because I want to beat the rush on release day. Since my PS4 is coming to my front door.

I got the KZ text as well. I'm still debating between this and BF4, but if KZ is in stores tomorrow, bye BF4.
