It didn't get bad reviews but I feel these games were overlooked for sure

Vanquish was a nice game and sells for a cheap price right now. Dante's Inferno was great!

Actually buy the games from Gamefly. They are much cheaper.

Singularity was a great game and it received good reviews, not bad ones. Loved the way they had you traversing time, and the few instances where you'd turn back time in a spot location in order to solve platforming problems/puzzles.

Socom: Confrontation

I had a lot of fun playing that game with my clan and I thought the remade maps from older Socom games were really well done.

I remember it getting a 6.0 in GI.

Agreed. Singularity was definitely overlooked. If not for Bioshock, Singularity easily would have been the Bioschock of this generation of consoles.

For some reason I could never get into Bioshock. I have no idea why.

I'm not sure if they got bad reviews or not, but I thoroughly enjoyed both Mafia II and The Saboteur.

For some reason, I've always liked realistic games over fantasy games where the characters have super powers and such.

Understand. Everyone has different tastes. Not all games are for everyone. I personally can't enjoy most FPS games like COD, Halo, etc, but know there's millions out there who enjoy them.

Depends on what you consider negative, but Kingdom Hearts 2 got a 7.6 from IGN and was one of my favorite games on the system.

And I suppose this year's MLB The Show for Vita would fit that criteria too, as it received the same score.

Not sure about reviews as I typically don't read any before buying a game, but some games off the top of my head that I've enjoyed that have either been unsung or somewhat bashed around here:
