You can sometimes choose between two branching paths in your quest for Dixon reunification, so there will be a few new intensely bland levels you can explore should you choose to play the game again. If someone suffers from such intense self-loathing that they'd consider that, I'd submit their money would be better spent on therapy.

Had some high hopes for this game after playing the excellent TWD game made by Telltale.
Really happy I didn't waste my money like I did on simcity

I like the game so far. I understand some people are expecting something grand. But so far I'm enjoying it. Graphics ain't great and gameplay pretty decent. But for 50$ I think it is worth it. I haven't ran into any problems with the game yet. Overall I gave it a 7.0 in my book. Just my opinion tho. Plus I found this game to be better then the Aliens game.

Headlines was just to get clicks. I play it and its nowhere near as bad as Aliens. This game has amazing potential but you could tell it was rushed (most likely by activision money grubbing asses).

I'm not a big fan of the inventory system in this game. Every time you pick up a useable item it automatically pops up in your hand. Not a super huge issue, but it's kind of annoying. I've already had a couple of occasions when I try to swipe with a walker with my knife only to realize that I'm wielding a sports drink bottle or an mre.

I've played to the end of the first chapter so far. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna trudge through this when I have other quality games on my plate that I need to start. It's not all bad though. I've enjoyed the few cutscenes that I've seen so far and the voice acting is on point. The problem is that you have to play the game to get to that stuff. I've already become tired of the car breaking down and needing to scour around for supplies. Completing story-based missions is a little more fulfilling, but I don't know, I'm not exactly amped up to continue playing. Now that I've found Merle, I really don't care about what else I have to do.

This game feels so low budget. Some of the level design is alright, but most of it is pretty bland. The gameplay itself is alright for a couple of minutes, but after that it's more of a chore than anything. You're either stabbing a zombie in the head 3 or 4 times for it to drop or chain grappling a swarm of them that are surrounding you. Blasting them with a shotgun or blowing them up with a grenade is pretty cool, but that only gives this game so many bonus points.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. It's playable, but that's about as much praise as I want to bestow upon it. For fans of the series, you'd be better served playing Telltale's title. If you absolutely want to experience it though, just don't go in expecting much. If I had to give a number score based on what I've played so far I'd probably say 5 out of 10. If I play anymore and it gets better I'll definitely post something.

I actually like the game. 6 more months of polish and this could have been a great game. However one thing I can't ignore is the damn theme song. I can't be the only one to have notice how wrong it sounds.LOL And yes I knows there's bigger problems with the game but that one issue is apparent to me every time I turn the game on.
