Why not assume it? Theres nothing in that article that indicates this bi-annual release excludes Madden, NCAA, LIve and MVP so you just can say for sure that it does.
Like I said they may have made enough money and established a big and loyal enough fanbase for their sports games...especially Madden...that they can actually pull it off.

Because, as I said EA isn't stupid. Also, if they were going to do that, there would be a lot more talk about it. Sim team sports games have always come out every year, around the same time. If a company was going to do something, especially when they are the leader in sports games, there would be more than a 2 line blurb about it in an article.

Very good point. But perhpas EA just hasn't announced it officially yet. All I'm saying is that it can't totally be dismissed until theres more info or some official news regarding whether this applies to there sim sports franchises or not.
