I don't think that refers to EA Sports titles. If it did, it was spell the end to all their sports franchises with ESPN releasing titles every year.
I think it's just EA titles and EA Big titles.

this is a very interesting development. I highly doubt that it'd include the 4 major sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey). I can see them doing Street every 2 years, or Fight Night, NFL Street, etc, but they would really lose market share if they don't kick out the major 4 every year. ESPN would gain like crazy if they put out ESPN NFL 2005 and didn't have any competition.

I dont think i would mind it so much if they made roster updates accesible to everyone even ones without the internet. and they dupdates would have to be really good.

it would kinda make sense for it to have to do with sports games. Madden 2005 would probably be the last madden on the current generation of systems and if they skip 2005 then it would allow them to completly focus their development time on madden for next gen systems. Instead of having 1 year to develop the game they would have 2 solid years. Id kind of prefer that since I freaking cannot wait to see what football games will be like on the ps3 and xbox 2. The more development time the better I say.
