Re: True Crime (Streets of LA) ?
I like the GTA and Max Payne games but hated this. It seems like it couldn't decide whether to be a corny comedy or a full out serious action game and gets left somewhere in the middle. The graphics are good, gameplay average (especially as the game stops and starts too much with the missions, rather than a free flowing GTA type game) and the fun factor is ok. It's a different game than GTA (and Max Payne) so it's not fair to compare, but I don't like it for what it is.Comment

Re: True Crime (Streets of LA) ?
The street names, and the layout of the city is VERY realistic. My dad (UCLA alum) told me how to get to UCLA (in Westwood) from where I was (I forget where I was, I think it was Downtown L.A.) and the streets were right and I was able to drive up to UCLA (they had it closed off, probably something asked for by the University seeing how they wouldn't want their college involved in a game like it, but it is there.).
I thought that was pretty cool in itself. The game is very fun, very addicting, the driving is very fun in this game, alot more control over cars then in GTA.
I'd recommend it, you may want to rent it first though.Blind to this impending fate
