On sale for $40 at various sites, or $30 if you're playing on PC. Finally broke down and bought it for PS4 just to have something different than a Sports game or an open world game (WatchDogs, Assassin'sCreed, Spider-Man, etc).

Looking forward to Single Player campaign. Someone told me there's no PvP Multiplayer in this game. Is that true?

Unfortuantely, yes. This is the only reason why I waited for the Steam sale to buy it. No multiplayer

Picked it up today after reading the thread. Struggled to get it installed, keeps stopping at 30%, giving me a disk is dirty/scratched error. I've checked the disc, its fine. Tried uninstalling and installing several times, online and offline. No luck. Finally did some google searching, found some workarounds. Seems to be a common problem for XB1 owners. MS has provided some people with a workaround, but ultimately seems to blame Bethesda, Bethesda's support people are quiet for the most part aside from a few on their forums telling customers their console is defective. Yikes. All in all, really no help from them apparently.

Either way I got it to install offline, up to the point where it let me play it while installing the rest, so I got to play a bit, but once it hit 35% this time it failed again.

Apparently the solution has been to install it briefly to the point where I can play, then let it fail, then go into the marketplace and install the game by downloading the entire thing and installing from XB Live. So... maybe but sometime tomorrow after I download 50gb or so, it may hopefully work. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Anyone else have this problem?

What I got to play of it though, seemed pretty fun. Like most of you in here said, probably going to wear out my x button picking everything up. lol

traded in Killzone and tomb Raider at Best Buy yesterday for $36 total and picked up Wolfenstein. Actually didn't pay a thing, ended up with a gift card that had a dollar on it.

Anyway, played for about an hour and it's really fun, old school type of shooter. Like others have echoed, hate the fact that I have to manually pick up ammo, what a chore. Other than that, graphics and framerate are great.

Agreed. Played through the first mission last night. Decent graphics, but great gameplay. Didn't remember/realize Bethesda made it. Probably why it didn't have multiplayer. Still, a Wolfenstein game without PvP Multiplayer just seems odd to me.

I had a pretty hard time with the start of Chapter 3 for some reason. Died like 5 times at the start of it. Finally got through and haven't struggled since. Enjoying the world. Bethesda is good at making believable worlds.

In reading some interviews, it sounded like on the front end all resources were solely going toward the story/gameplay and they were not entertaining multiplayer.

I finished this game about a week ago. I have to say, it's my favorite next gen game to date. The story and challenge of this game is unmatched by any next gen game on these consoles. The graphics are pretty good too. I would rate this game a solid 9/10. With all the mini games under the hood and the great story, it's a no doubt 2 or 3 time play through game for myself.
