I don't understand all the modes. Heck, I can't even tell who's on my side most of the time. I'm too old for this game. SW Battlefront will probably be my main game. I can see stormtrooper white and know to shoot them, being colorblind won't be an issue.

Are these req packs only useful in warzone?

Req packs will get you some armor customization stuff that is good for all modes, but the rest from the packs are for Warzone.

I guess I'm to old and slow to play Halo and COD games online. The fact is, I'm horrible. By the time I get my weapon aimed at the enemy I'm dead. I like the game online , I just stink. Last night I played a game of warzone I had 3 kills and 16 deaths. Guess I'll have to stick with Battlefield 4, larger maps and slower pace are my friends. lol

I can't do it either. The constant jumping around is just flat out annoying to me. I always seem to have a crap gun compared to the person I'm up against too. Played a few arena games last night but I doubt I spend too much time playing this online.

I felt the same way at first. This game takes some time and practice, it is very unforgiving at first.

The guns you start out with can wreck the entire time, but what you are experiencing is players who know the map better and can find all the good guns faster. I know the feeling.

I will say that the steep learning curve pays off because when you get better at the game it is more enjoyable to play since it took you some time to get there.

The best way to start off is to play lots of swat imo. It just has 1 gun and is all about headshots. Once you play a lot of swat you will find that playing slayer gets easier.

Is there Big Team Battle online? Are they going to add more game modes in the future?

Also, how many can coop SP together?

BTB is coming before the end of the year. My guess is along with Forge in December. Yes, more gametypes will be added. Playlist is streamlined to help make it a smooth launch, but they also said they don't want to have to many, because it spreads the community thin.

The campaign supports up to 4 player co-op.

Halo has always had a large skill gap, easily one of the largest in shooters. Halo 5 also has less aim assist than any prior Halo I've played.

My tips:

Playing with friends can help a lot. Stick with your team or a teammate, because lone wolf habits tend to get punished. Slow down and don't overextend yourself. Don't chase or force 1v1s, at least not initially and not until you're sure you have an advantage.

Its a tough game, just keep playing. This game is more of an E-game which means it is built for competitive gamers. Even if you are not one of those, just don't get down on yourself for getting wrecked. It takes hours of learning before you get halfway decent, and that is part of the fun when the light clicks on for certain things.

Don't run into the middle of the map - stay on the outside
Stick with teammates
Master switching to the handgun for long and medium range and AR for short
Don't aim down sites unless it is long range.

I am not that great. Just learning from teammates who are and I am seeing improvements in my game as well.

Have to add - Dedicated servers rule!! This is really awesome. I can't go back to peer to peer PVP after this.
