      The ban system is good but also kinda stupid. If I throw a incendiary and my teammate is stupid enough to keep running into it, I get banned. That's dumb IMO. I mean it's right there clear as day and he keeps running into it and I'm yelling don't run in there.

        I've had some betrayals but no bans. I'm guessing you have to do it a few times.


        Or you can be lucky like me a shoot a teammate in the head after they just finished a guy off. In that case the enemy gets credit for the kill.

        Only reason I might know this is there is a good possibility I did this to candy lol.

            Yeah that was pretty much what happened but it was breakout and we were shooting at the same guy. Well candy killed him and I fired another round as he crossed in front of my sights and I landed s perfect head shot.

            He was all confused wondering where he got killed from because it didn't pop up as a betrayal lol.

                I finished campaign last night and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The gameplay is a huge improvement over past Halo's, especially with the 60 fps. Going 60 fps is huge and it shows with this game. While I enjoyed the campaign due to the gameplay, the story has some issues IMO.

                    Some additions/changes I would like to see in Arena:
                    • Team Doubles playlist
                    • Oddball and KOTH added to Team Arena.
                    • Truth, Empire, and two other maps I can't remember added to the Slayer playlist. These only show up in Team Arena and Truth has only come up for CTF.
                    • 2-3 second respawn for SWAT.
                    • FFA reduced to 6 players
                    • Hydra removed from Breakout
                    • Grenade pickups reduced



                    The core fundamentals are so satisfying, but as of now, it doesn't have the same map and gametype diversity as past Halo games, even at launch. Granted, past Halo games did have an issue of offering to much and it spread the community thin, but Halo 5 could definitely use more playlists and not just for weekends. The serious side is mostly taken care of, but it could use more of the crazy social gametypes like Action Sack.

                    If 343 really delivers on supporting this game extensively though, it will be my go to multiplayer shooter for a good while. To me they nailed the toughest part and made their first real mark on the franchise, and now it's time fill the game out with more content.

                        They need the maps for it though. All the maps in the Arena playlists would be too cramped for 8 vs 8, while the Warzone maps are too big for it.

                          I hope not. 4v4 is perfect to separate the good from the bad. 8v8 my as well be big team battle unless they specifically make maps for it which would be a horrible use of resources.

                          I love the games ballance at launch but i got a feeling the community bitching is about to turn it into anothe BR/DMR is all that matters game all over again....

                            We need a Valhalla/Blood Gultch esq map or two. Loving the MP and having blast. But the same CQ maps over and over will get old in the near future.

                            CTF on a decent sized map is a must. Even slayer on some bigger maps (NOT the Warzone maps) for that matter. Can only play the same style for so long.

                            Not going to get started on the map/game rotation (playing the same map over an over and over), but why on earth is there so much Slayer in Arena ? If I wanted to play Slayer I'd choose Slayer....

                            Oh and I'd absolutely love the variations of Breakout maps in a straight Slayer game. Has a paintball / Hang Em High feel to it.

                              Big team battle will be coming and I would have to assume that they will release big team maps.

                              And since maps are free it wouldn't divide the community

                                On the last episode of The Sprint, 343 invited some of the best community forgers to build remakes of classic BTB maps in Forge. It sounds like BTB will predominately be played on Forge maps, which is disappointing, but unsurprising. Warzone doesn't support Forge, so resources will be going to that to create new maps.

                                BTB maps seen were:
                                • Sidewinder
                                • Standoff
                                • Burial Mounds
                                • Longbow
                                • Headlong
                                • Blood Gulch



                                It was also mentioned in one of episodes that a lot of the maps would be seeing "remixes". 18 free maps before June 2016, but a good chunk will be Forge maps and whatever these remixed versions of current maps turn out to be. At least the early remixed version of The Rig they showed looked promising with lava going down the center. The impression I got is their using the current aesthetic palette, but the actual geometry will be new.
