The reason it got low reviews is because the combat system is rather simple. The story mode has been pretty bland so far, and sometimes the game just doesn't look right. I will say I'm having fun, but there is very little replay value here. This will be a game that gets beat and gets traded in quickly.

I could see myself going through it a 2nd time. That era in time has always peaked my interest. Movies like Gladiator, Cleopatra, Troy are always a must see for me over and over again

The more I play the more I'm digging this game. There is only so many ways you are gonna kill someone with a sword/shield and I think this game gives off that realism without it being so cheesy

I'm starting to get my timing down and the combat is becoming a thing of beauty. I said I would give it a 7.5 but that score is starting to climb

This man speaks truth. Ryse right now for me is the price of admission. Gameplay though a somewhat simple combat system, bump the level up to Centurion & "Let the Games Begin"

Once you start getting your timing together & "leveling up" the kills become better and better. The feeling of executing a barbarian once they have that skull over their head is....



Graphically this game is stunning. Crtyek seems to have done a great job creating a very realistic Roman Atmosphere. The voice acting so far is excellent and very realistic...

Up to this point it's one of the better games I've played as well. The camera at times is a little wonky but it's so rare it's not a big deal. Loving every minute of this game
