I've never had any issue's matchmaking. Have always had good experience with randoms when my buds weren't on, must be a PC thing. The Call of Duty kids likely gravitate towards consoles.

After playing every single day, for the must part since release, I haven't touched this game in a week. It bums me out, I just have no real desire to turn it on. I like it, and it's fun, just don't "feel" like playing. Hopefully the DLC can draw me back.

I wish my PS4 hadn't screwed up saving my video clip from yesterday afternoon. I was running the DZ solo in the level 30 area just farming up some phoenix credits when a group of four went rogue on me while I was running up the road. I popped my survivor link and took cover. I wound up melting the first guy in the group and waited for his buddies to try and revive him, which they stupidly did in the middle of the road. I popped a flashbang on two more of them and took them down as well. By then, the other guy had taken cover down the road a bit, so I dashed at the three of the guys I had taken down and finished them off with a melee. After that, it was full on cold blooded killer mode, as I sprinted full speed at the last guy and melted his face off. I figured they'd be coming back for me, so I took off running. That got the blood pumping for sure. I went to save the video clip, but the stupid thing only saved like 45 seconds of video, which was after this all happened.

Then I had an awesome night loot wise with my buddies. Two of us hit level 50 DZ at about the same time, and I had about 450 phoenix credits saved up. I ran up to the DZ06 safe house and purchased the MP5 blueprint along with the firearms chest and gloves blueprints (two of the three items I needed to have all ilvl31 gear), and my buddy bought the MP5 blueprint as well.

I had 36 HE Division Tech, so I was worried that I would have awful luck crafting. After about 8 rolls on the MP5, I managed to get Deadly and Destructive, which was good enough for me. My first chest piece rolled perfectly and gave me a good boost, and on my second set of gloves, I rolled it with nearly the max firearms stat, crit chance, crit dmg, and SMG damage, along with the talent that increases crit chance by 13% against enemies out of cover. Basically every hit with an SMG with these gloves on and a tactical scan is a crit. That was exactly the roll I was looking for. So now I'm down to just a few Division tech, but I feel as though it was worth it.

Regarding the MP5 however. I was concerned at first, as my DPS showed like 15k lower than the Vector. After I crafted that chest piece and the gloves, my Vector was over 170k DPS, but the MP5 with the same attachments is only like 155k. I took it into the DZ, and sweet mercy, this thing MELTS. It is so insanely stable that I can just keep it on enemies heads permanently. Much preferred to the Vector.

I'm just happy to be at DZ50. Sure, the high end division tech issue will get annoying at some point, but it's nice not worrying about losing experience getting toward level 50. We had our normal group of 4 on last night after we crafted all of our new stuff, and had a group of 3 trying to make us go rogue with a few pot shots. We obliged and absolutely slaughtered them in a matter of seconds, and before it was done, we wound up at manhunt status. We booked it to the NE level 31 extraction point on the parking garage and set up shop. Only one group came to try and take us down, and they didn't last long. We wound up surviving, which boosted our other buddies trying to get to 50 big time. The rest of the night was spent hunting rogues, which is always a blast.

And I daresay, I think some or maybe even most of the Call of Duty kids have moved on from this game. Had another great night with matchmaking. Ran General Assembly once before teaming up with Birdman, did matchmaking and get three good guys. Then after teaming up Birdman, got those two guys that we ran with for General Assembly and Warren Gate.

Two solid guys, talked the entire time, were very level headed, sounded maybe late 20s and even said before Warren Gate they were glad to find people who don't rage quit in the middle of Challenging missions and are willing to stick it out to the end regardless of how difficult or long. Ended up all of us adding each other as friends for future sessions in The Division.

So you can definitely run into some good people as randoms in this game.

Hell, it rains the other yellow crafting materials yet I still run out of stuff (tools especially) constantly.

Try the DZ05 Vendor and buy the high end muzzle brake.

Deconstruct for HE tools. It costs about 5k DZ funds.

Tools seem to be the hardest to come by, followed by electronics.

It shouldn't have been. I went and looked early on and it showed it set to friends being able to join. You might have tried to join while I was in a full party for my first run of the night through the General Assembly mission or else after me and Birdman had matchmade for the second GA run through. Unfortunately I don't think the game gives any indication between a closed party and a full party.

Very rare occasions where I'm either doing some grinding (like with Bullet King before it was patched) or if I'm away from my controller for more than a few minutes, I'll close my party to invite only, otherwise I nearly always keep it set to open to friends.

Ran the Daily Challenge mission yesterday while my wife was waiting (so there was double pressure to me to "hurry up and finish with that stupid game" LOL) and got a really nice pair of gold gloves!

Ok, there are two achievements for rogue hunting (kill 1 and 20) so I'm assembling a team from anyone who wants to hunt rogues in the dark zone on The Division on Xbox One.

We will need at least 4 high level people but it'd be even better if we could have 8.

Who is in? And when can you hunt?

Well that's unfortunate, lol. Rarely I will be sometimes be on for a couple hours before work on Friday nights, usually when I can't sleep and it's a waste of time flopping from side to side in bed for a couple hours.

I can definitely do Wednesday and Thursday nights though. Just let me know and we'll go wreck some rogues.
