Maybe he has some sort of system where he gets rewards and financially it makes sense?
I'm still enjoying the game, but when OSFM drops I can see my Division time drastically decrease.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Sure you guys know I don't play online and im not paying for PS+ to do so. In the Beta, the Dark Zone looked awesome but otherwise, I had no interest in it whatsoever. Unless the trade value drops, I'll get back $33 on Tuesday when I trade it in.
I also will have Quantum Break for at least a week. Later on, chances are there will be a sale on the game and the season pass by the time the first two expansions get released this summer. At worse, I would spend a few dollars for the sales tax which isn't a big deal.
Short term, after QB, I have Uncharted 4 and barring a delay, Homefront: The Revolution and my goal is not to have to spend any money until the fall games hit. If the trade value drops on The Division in the summer which it obviously will, it won't matter because I would be buying it again for the season pass but right now, it's just going to sit there and collect dust.
Also, I want to read the impressions from those here and other sites/forums in regards to the incursions as well as the monthly DLC drops including the two expansion pass DLC's before diving in.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I will probably be on later tonight if anyone wants to hit up the dark zone and rank up. Currently at 40 and want to try to get to 50 since next week I might not get a whole lot of time to play.

Getting to the point that the lack of high end division tech is starting to ruin the fun of the game. Have all these blue prints I worked to get to level 50 in the DZ to acquire and now, because of an artificial RNG bases barrier can't even craft them.
This more than anything would be the reason I dump this game. Every other consumable can be crafted from lesser level gear except that one. I'm not even angry or mad, just matter of fact about it. HE Division tech is a grind that takes the fun out of the game for me.Moderator

I agree with all of this.Comment

I guess that's what the daily bounties are suppose to fix. I heard they give Phoenix credits and division tech on completion.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
It's still going to suck because of the way crafting is, unless you get lucky you are going to need dozens of tries before you get a good roll. Hell, it rains the other yellow crafting materials yet I still run out of stuff (tools especially) constantly.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I don't have a problem with having to craft many guns to get the perfect roll you like. Having the ability to craft in the first place is far and ahead of many other loot based shooters out now. Also, massive isnt forcing you to bother with the crafting nonstop meta. But if you want in, you're gonna have to farm the game. Those are the breaks.
That said, DT nodes in the dz are outrageously too limited right now. I've lost a lot of drive to play the game because of this too (but mostly because overall lack of endgame).
If these daily bounties give say 9 yellow DT a day, I'd be very satisfied. But I hope some of those bounties involve rouge behavior in some way. "Extract 5 items previously held by other agents" that could be fun.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Another good night with Birdman. Sprinted though Lexington hard daily, teamed up with two random through matchmaking for a 10 minute speed run through the General Assembly hard daily and then the four of us actually all stayed together and moved over and took on the Warren Gate challenging daily.
For the most part, we didn't have too much trouble, until we hit the end. First attempt at the end, we got through to the boss wave without much issue, then got destroyed by the three Guards with the boss. Then for some reason we kept getting clobbered over and over by the third wave with all the shotgun rushers. No matter what we did, ran back to the previous room, flashbang the hell out of them, pop tactical and defense links, we just kept getting dropped one by one.
Finally we remembered what we did the first time that worked. Instead of falling back and letting the shotgun rushers come to us, we instead targeted them at the doors their came out of, stopped them in their tracks and much more easily dispatched them. Then after getting our tactical and defense links restored, we went into the final way with the distinct plan of popping tactical link, using flashbangs and all targeting a single Guard at a time to drop them fast.
That is one thing this game definitely has going for it. You really have to plan and strategize on challenging missions as the game is unforgiving for the unprepared.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
And I daresay, I think some or maybe even most of the Call of Duty kids have moved on from this game. Had another great night with matchmaking. Ran General Assembly once before teaming up with Birdman, did matchmaking and get three good guys. Then after teaming up Birdman, got those two guys that we ran with for General Assembly and Warren Gate.
Two solid guys, talked the entire time, were very level headed, sounded maybe late 20s and even said before Warren Gate they were glad to find people who don't rage quit in the middle of Challenging missions and are willing to stick it out to the end regardless of how difficult or long. Ended up all of us adding each other as friends for future sessions in The Division.
So you can definitely run into some good people as randoms in this game.Comment
