Patch going in tonight at 3am eastern, patching the MSG farm and all the outside of mission farms. Also "exceeding the set group of four", they weren't really clear if this was in the DZ or where there would be like 8+ in challenge missions.

I'm not sure it was something going on when I was matchmaking..... Agents were literally pouring onto the screen.... We ran that mission for 2 hours... It was just like running a mile run on a track.... Nobody even died.....

So here's what I took from the chat, sort of hard for me to understand with some of the accents the guys seemed to have..

1. Incursions will be impossible to solo. They will require a very nicely coordinated team.

2. This patch will introduce gear sets. Match up the gear from the same set to receive additional bonuses.

Yes when they announced #2 the chat exploded with Tom Clancy's The Diablo, LOL.

3. Trading will be implemented by being able to drop items and once dropped anyone can pick it up (yes even people outside of your party can pick it up).

4. More named weapons will be added.

5. The Dark Zone will have its own events that sometimes occur that you can partake on the fly.

Patch comes out on April 12

Watched a little anyone have a written format of it. Had to get ready for work. Saw set gear supply drops and assignments which all look good and gear level is the only thing I didn't catch fully.

But did they say you can see what another person's gear level is. To me that could ruin the dark zone if they can see because then they can tell if they can gank you. Right now it could be 2 on 1 but the 1 could be grated better and win. But if they can see now they either won't hesitate for the upper hand if they know they got you or geared

O okay I saw that they had the gear levels in but didn't catch it all. That's good you just show up as a level to other people and not the gear level. That would suck as I run solo in the dark zone often.

Level up your alts. If the best rewards from incursion is given once weekly, until I hear otherwise I would assume you can get that level of reward 4x.

Also, tip of the hat to Massive/Ubisoft for dropping this update same day Destiny drops theirs. Love to see that kind of confidence/competitive drive in business.

From what I understood, you can only trade in a DZ outpost, so there will never be anyone but your party there. When they were talking about someone else picking it up, they were talking about people in your fireteam that you may not trust.

They are "supply drops", once an hour in a random location. They are protected by tough enemies, the drops can only be picked up by one team and everyone on the team gets the drops. Drops are not contaminated, so they don't need extracting and aren't droppable on death.

I'm thinking you pop a defense super and someone sacrifices a run to the box. I'd gladly pay an XP and useless DZ credit penalty to insure we get that drop.

Level up your alts. If the best rewards from incursion is given once weekly, until I hear otherwise I would assume you can get that level of reward 4x.

They confirmed this, even joked you could get them 12 times if you do it across all three platforms.

Pop defensive everyone else has the healing and keeps him alive long enough and maybe draw aggro. Throw a couple healing stations down for good measure lol.

They said you could do it 4 times on 4 characters for max reward.

Jare and Hoos... I apologize, I asked you guys to help but then was never on... Trying to find a house right now so... But I finally got thru the Joe Ferro mission!! I was on last night, didn't see you guys on so I just matched with randoms and we got it done... **** that was tough tho!

But I'm definitely gonna do what brandon27 did... Complete side missions/encounters solo and group up for the story missions.

Currently at Level 12 now... Gonna take some time away for a little bit to enjoy The Show, I wanted to get past the Ferro mission.
