If any of you have access to the alpha forums, can you check and see if theres any mention of a problem relating to not being able to load up a character you've been playing already? For whatever reason my account isn't being verified on their forum.

Had a lot of fun. Was confusing for me at first, but I started catching on a little. Me and my girl had a blast doing some missions.

Next time, I will try and explore more and see how it is playing w/ other players online.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think the Alpha have split screen. There's other options when you start the game but it says "Not Available in Alpha." So I don't know what they are or if it'll be in the full game. She has her own Xbox though and uses game share, so since I downloaded she also has it.

Thats not the DZ, thats the single player/co-op part of the game. The DZ is due East

If you get killed by someone there, what do you lose? I hate to lose all my sweet guns.

Any loot you collect in the DZ must be extracted to use it. If you get killed by someone they can loot it off you. If the AI kills you, you have a chance to get back to your body and grab your loots.

Other loot things to know.

When in a group, chest and AI drop private loot for everyone. When you kill a player, the 1st person to the loot gets it.

Some chest need a key to open, and this a random loot drop off AI. Other chest need a DZ level to open. Your DZ level is only raised while in the DZ,

DZ only, but once you extract the loot, it's your and can't be taken

So is this game similar to Destiny that you're safe from being shot by other online members?
You're only fighting the AI most of the time, except for special locations like the DZ?

It sounds like it yes.

Won't be like GTA:O where you're hounded by kids all night.

You'll never see humans in the normal world, other then your group. You'll just fight AI and do missions against AI.

The only time you'll see Human players is when you enter the DZ. When in the DZ you'll face Human and AI.

Once you shoot another player, you'll be be marked as rogue and other players will get a bonus for killing you. The more people you kill the higher your rank and the bigger bonus people get for killing you, and the higher bonus you get for living through a manhunt timer.

By doing missions/killing AI etc.. You get DZ level, the higher level the more gear you can get. However every time you get killed you lose DZ money and DZ level. If your a rogue you lose more of each.

Example: your a level 10 DZ and a high level rouge when someone kills you, you might drop down to level 8 1/2 DZ and lose $3000.

Basically it's a big risk/reward system for doing PVP

Just preordered on Amazon, and five minutes later they sent me a beta access code. I used the beta access code and then five minutes after that Ubisoft sent me the alpha code. The good thing is that Amazon doesn't charge you until the item ships, so if you want to cancel you can do so without having to worry about a refund.
