The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I played this for about 3 hours on a friends account. I feel like fighting human AI will get dull really fast. In destiny or halo there are so many types of enemy units. But in this its just a human with a different gun. Idk.
Absolutely love love love the environmental design. Being a New Yorker it just resonated with me. But I do feel bummed out that all that effort in the open world seems vapid as the world feels empty.
I thought the sickness would cause humans to mutate and it would make the city feel filled with tension around every corner but only the dark zone feels that way with other user players you don't know.
I'll get this on launch to play with my friends but I have my reservations.Comment

Also, I dunno if you found them but there are flamers, snipers, guys who charge you with bats, and guys who set up turrets. Hopefully more are in retail too."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Nice to hear there's another beta and very happy it's an open, but I feel like they should have this current beta open. I'm interested to see what happens when that many players are on and see how their servers hold up. With the game coming out shortly after the open beta I wonder if they'll have enough to fix any issues that come up. Hopefully they learned from the R6 Seige server fiasco."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
A few of us in our team chat were talking that eventually they should put in some sort of zombie/mutant enemy as the environment would be perfect for it in some areas. Could make for very tense moments.

Yeah I saw all those enemies either while playing or watching streams. I hope it gets more dynamic than that.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I thought it was a cool idea when people brought it up, I was thinking it could be like an optional side area or like a "Halloween event" kind of thing.
Regardless, the environments in the game are just so well done, with mutant enemies or not they can really create some tense moments in this game."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
The level progression and weapon progression is really well done. Knowing each gun has a level and damage rating the directly influences the damage being dealt to higher level AI players is great.Moderator
