I think there might have been a misunderstanding

I think people somewhere else were saying it took them four hours to "beat the beta" as far all the side missions and solo stuff outside the dark zone and it mistaken as the whole game is 4 hours long. That's my guess. 4 hours for entire retail campaign would be silly.

    On a different note:

Also, hoos and I just joined up and are getting ready for some runs, hit us up if anyone wants to play. Using in game chat now but can switch to party chat if we need to

In-game chat wasn't working for me the other day when I was in a party with Extremegamer. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. I thought it might have been my mic, but then I had that session last night where it worked fine in party chat. So, I dunno....is there a push to talk button?

So far it's been ok for us but it's a little choppier on my end than party chat. I miss the beginning of the others sentences sometimes. I don't think there's push to talk button but I will check again

I had fun playing this last night. I'll pick it up. Probably won't mess with the beta much more, though. Kind of want everything being fresh when I get it. I got a good enough idea of what it's about.

It is, of course, much easier with friends.
That is my experience. I was in a group of two, we were at an extraction zone with a bunch of people there and everyone seemed to be cool, then right towards the end they went off and tried to kill everyone. There were some entrance campers too, but rather than engaging with 4 people we just ran away. My partner quit out, so I roamed around by myself for a bit. Got a bit of gear, and then waited for someone else to call an extraction. Camped out a ways away to avoid any conflict since I was by myself, and once the chopper was ready I waited for others to start attaching gear. That's when I sprinted up, attached, then ran away. Seemed to work out fine. Just have to play it safe just in case.

This game wasn't even in my radar until I watched a little gameplay and heard some impressions from the Boltman.

Now I'm excited for release day.

Definitely a very fun game, even running around solo.

I'll probably go with the Juan for this one so if anyone wants to add me... BigDBearsFan23.

Are there any lock picks on xbox one? Been playing it since the beta opened and none.

I fired up the ps4 beta last night and had 3 lock picks within 2 hours. On PS4 I got 2 from giving gifts to civilians and 1 from a thug drop.

This sucks, because I know just where to go with my lock picks.

Been cruising the exact area I got them on ps4 and also everywhere else on the map. At this point to go this long with none yet get 3 on the ps4...sheesh.

All things considered after playing both versions I like the ps4 version more.

I didn't realize it came from someone saying it took 4 hours for them to finish the beta. That would make sense.

I was the same way. I didn't really watch much gameplay or anything. I decided on Thursday to do the pre-order for the ps4 so I could play the beta and I am really enjoying it.

Yeah the poster that said 4 hours didnt really specify he was meaning beta only. I think between Bolt, Jare, hooz and I we got over 60 hours on just the beta alone. Lol.

I was in dark zone alone last night and walked out of the safe house. I seen two people walking towards me so I put my hands up. Well they looked at ne a couple of seconds then destroyed me. Lol.

So in retaliation I spawned back at Safe House and followed them stealthy until they were engaged with AI underground, well while this was happening I ran in the middle of both them and AI so they accidentally shoot ke to go rogue then proceeded to help the AI kill them both. Such a great experience.

Finally got about a half hour in. The good news is they have a Legacy stick layout option. The bad news is it is broken with two of the game's larger components: turning while sprinting and turning while in cover (they are both canceled the moment you turn).

I guess I have to stick with Default (no pun intended).

Hosh42 joined up with us and our 4man has become a loot train due to some hotspots he showed us

Three dudes tried to jack us right as we were extracting, I killed one, bolt and hoos chased another guy who tried to bail and served him some street justice. One is still at large.

                            We will find him.

                            We will kill him.

Finally found a lock pick on xbox one.

Went right to my ps4 spot from last night and picked the lock, strolled in and got a classic blue M1.

This, even with 10 round capacity, is amazing vs AI.

I can get them at such a range they cannot initially find me. Just like it should be.

Also about 20 minutes ago before I shut it off to take a break I was roaming the streets and saw an odd looking civilian, he was looking at me as well as we closed in on each other. Then I realized it was a thug right when he realised I was Division. I got the drop on him wild west style and put him down.

Have not seen a solo thug, that was awesome. Game needs more of this.

Had a nice one like this on PS4 last night, had just done an apartment sweep and back down the stairs I spill out the entrance into the sunlight and get my bearings and realize I walked right out into a gang meeting. 5 total, 2 on my left and 3 on my right. They looked just as stunned, I backed back into the entrance hall and started unloading on the 2 I could still see. Downed them and held my ground, took like 3 minutes for the next guy to work up the nerve to come after me but he did. Eliminated him and noting his entry direction I went on offense and crashed out the front and shocked them as I unleashed on them downing both quickly.

I want more of these random encounters, it makes the city truly feel chaotic and anarchic.

It's crazy that I've played so much and consistently entertained despite the fact that I'm no longer leveling up and so much of the game is unavailable in beta. This game has a little bit of everything for everybody I think. Running around in the dark zone where every person you pass could be a friend or foe and so many things can turn against you so quickly is a more exhilarating survival gaming experience than any zombie game has ever given me. The way you mod weapons and build your attributes up based on whatever you're going for is very balanced and fair IMO.

Within 7 days I've probably playe two of my top games of the year, this and The Witness.

We did just encounter someone who seemed to be doing something weird. Bolt could explain what happened better than I can
