I'll be on later tonight and throughout the weekend. I've done pretty well playing solo in the dz but it'll be nice to run with a group.

Big shout out to candy, bolt, hoos, mike24 and Mikenoob. Great session going nonstop since it went live this morning

I have to be brief as I'm late for something but I went into this expecting to like it and I'm pleasantly surprised. Day 1 purchase and I'm very very excited or it. I already like it more than I liked destiny.

We cleared the entire map of anything pve related and ran the hard mission a few times for gear. We are regrouping in a couple hours to tackle the dark zone

My only gripe is with the beta, not the game. Wish they had more content available in the beta.

Is there any point to deconstructing stuff since crafting isn't up yet? Should I just sell?

BTW, silent protag should have been everyone's first clue that this an RPG and not really a pure shooter.

Playing the Beta PS4. Never played Desiny BTW

+Really enjoyed the story mode so far.
+graphics look good no complaints
+ liking the mechanics just take some getting used too

Now the only negative I have is the Dark Zone . I really tried to like this . 3 times in a row I spawned and got ambushed instantly . I even surrendered once and still got shot up.

When I finally got passed the entrance I got around some guys who didn't shoot me . That didn't last long either before they started shooting each other and I died again . I don't understand the point. I will try this again with friends later though so hopefully it'll be better. If not I might pass on this game at release .

My experience has been a lot better with multiplayer for sure . Even in the dark zone . Still trying to understand the game . This is really my first game of this type.

I haven't run into anyone trying to just camp DZ entrances. In fact some guys have even been pretty cool with the extractions, knowing there's about 10 other non-rogues around who will insta-kill them for trying anything. That's the thing that attempts to keep everyone in line - when someone goes rogue they're a target for EVERYONE.

Now if full groups are just dead set on wreaking hovoc...I don't know if there's much that can be done if you're solo, other than to just steer clear. There's several extraction zones around, you don't have to just anchor around a single one.

Played the game from the second it opened up (4am my time) till 1pm. Yes, I played 9 hours straight.

In my group of 4 it was Jare, Candy, Hoos, but when candy left we had mikenoob. When mikenoob left we had Mike24forever lol.

Hit max level, all nice gear and weapons now. Like someone said earlier the M1A is an absolute beast.

Use your pulse often and in rotation when doing the mission on hard. It's very challenging but teamwork rules over all.

Use your incendiary or explosive ammo when fighting the boss or huge waves of lvl 8 enemies.

With the gear/weapons I have at lvl 8 the DZ is kinda easy. Enemies go down in a few shots from the M1A. No really spongy enemies.

I went in the DZ with Hoos just for a little bit to get a feel for it. Got my DZ rank up a few lvls. Seems like the DZ levels go up fast, maybe because I'm 8 and the enemies die kinda easy.

M1A to wear em out from range with a powerful shotty as a secondary if they get too close for comfort.

Really loving this game, we'll play a lot more tonight.

I saw 2 guys right inside the entrance to DZ, they didn't attack me and Hoos heh.

I'm sure it can get monotonous, but so did Destiny & ESO. If I got 9 hours right off the bat then this game is easily worth my money. I'm going to Gamestop this weekend and paying extra to change my purchase of this from the regular version to the limited version with season pass.

Even if I play it only for 3 to 6 months it would still be worth my money with the amount of time I'll be playing and enjoying it.

Game looks incredible as well, gearing up your guy and modding your weapons and how it all looks & feels is such joy.

So, that was awesome.

I get some loot off of some NPC's in the Darkzone and am waiting for extraction. A pair of rogues kill me. In the time that I was respawning THEY got killed by some of the other non-hostiles that were around me. I doubt they forgot about it intentionally, but no one picked up my loot that they dropped, allowing me to come back and pick it up off the rogue's dead body. Then, with a group of about 5 non-hostiles, we all used one extraction point to all send our own loot back to base, successfully this time. I didn't know any of these people.

That seems like the system working like it should. (although I was lucky no one picked up my stuff - maybe they all just had better gear).

Been wanting this game since I heard of it a couple years ago, but all the news about the missing zones and the DLC caused me to cancel my preorder. I just can't support any game with the business practice of charging full price for a game and asking for another $40 on top to get all the DLC and bonus stuff shortly after release. I'm sure a lot of people will have fun with this game, but it's just so irritating when a company does this.

Yeah we just sell everything since the beta has no crafting, unfortunately
